Pleasanton, CA — January 8th, 2020 — NextHome is proud to announce the newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Great Lakes Realty. Based in Grand Blanc, the new brokerage represents the 16th NextHome franchised office opened in the state of Michigan.
NextHome Great Lakes Realty is owned by the husband and wife team Justin and Sabrina Villaire. Together, they are thrilled to provide their expertise to local clients, whether they’re first-time home buyers, investors, commercial buyers, or luxury home seekers.
The team will serve buyers and sellers across Grand Blanc, Fenton, Goodrich, Linden, Holly, Davison, Burton, and the remainder of Genesee, North Oakland, and Southern Lapeer counties.
Located about an hour north of Detroit, Grand Blanc is known for its many beautiful golf courses and the city hosts a well-known Ally Challenge professional golf tournament annually.
Sabrina began her real estate career in Grand Blanc in 2010. The couple was always recreationally interested in real estate and would spend time looking at homes as a hobby. That hobby evolved into an investment business and then morphed further into a part-time job when Sabrina began selling luxury homes for Keller Williams.
She became so successful as a REALTOR that Justin stepped in to help as an administrative assistant. Together, Justin and Sabrina closed over 35 transactions per year, selling about $6 million in real estate in an area where the average home prices hover in the $145,000 range.
Before delving into real estate, Justin was a supervisor for a series of McDonald’s franchises around eastern Michigan owned and operated by his parents. Beginning in 1994, he immersed himself in every aspect of franchising and learned many valuable leadership lessons.
“I worked every position so I could relate with everyone at every level,” Justin said. “From the entry-level worker to the top CEO, being in the franchising world has really opened my eyes to different people’s experiences.”
Justin obtained his own real estate license in 2016 and was awarded Rookie of the Year. After three years of successful selling with Sabrina as The Villaire Group at Keller Williams, the couple began thinking about opening their own brokerage.
“We always wanted to do our own thing,” Justin said. “In 2019, we decided it was the right time to make that change.”
Justin and Sabrina began researching franchise options and struck up a conversation with a local NextHome agent.
“I liked everything he had,” Justin said. “I loved the marketing, the signage, the whole brand appealed to me. It was a model of what I wanted to build into my brokerage.”
Today, Justin and Sabrina are building an office where agents can find top-level training and support.
The couple is also active in their Grand Blanc community supporting local businesses, and volunteering with their church and Holy Family Catholic School.
When they aren’t selling real estate, Justin and Sabrina enjoy spending time together as a family and vacationing at their cottage on Little Island Lake. Justin and Sabrina have been together for 19 years, and together they have three children: Austin (17), Marissa (13), and Cooper (11).
