Sherry provides decades of mortgage, underwriting, insurance, and real estate expertise. Her well-rounded knowledge creates an informed and empowering experience for every client.
“I want to sit down with every client, walk through the process together, answer every question, and make sure they truly understand what’s happening,” Sherry said. “When people understand the process, they feel empowered instead of overwhelmed.”
Sherry brings a remarkably comprehensive perspective to real estate sales. Before opening NextHome Noire, she spent nearly three decades as a mortgage underwriter. Throughout her career, Sherry has also worked as a real estate agent with a Houston-based franchise, in addition to holding her insurance license and working with the local appraisal board. This experience helped Sherry build a vast understanding of the home-buying process from multiple perspectives.
That depth of experience allows Sherry to anticipate challenges before they arise and guide clients through every stage of the homeownership journey.
“I enjoy solving puzzles,” Sherry said. “No two transactions are exactly alike. Every client has different goals, different circumstances, and different concerns. I love helping people work through those challenges.”
For Sherry, opening NextHome Noire is the culmination of a career spent helping people confidently navigate one of life’s most significant financial decisions.
“I’ve always believed that buying or selling a home is much more than a transaction,” Sherry said. “It’s a major life milestone. Families are creating memories, building wealth, and planning their futures. My goal is to make sure every client feels educated, supported, and confident every step of the way.”

Sherry enjoys giving back to her community. She currently serves on the Fort Bend County Appraisal Review Board and is passionate about supporting animal rescue organizations. An avid animal lover, she has fostered rescue dogs, including helping save a mother dog named Cassie from euthanasia and finding loving homes for all nine of her puppies.
She is the proud single mother of three girls and the grandmother to a 13-year-old grandson. Sherry is expanding her horizons through a new golf journey and looks forward to getting to know others through continued participation in the sport.
