NextHome True Freedom Opens in North Carolina

Pleasanton, CA — August 13, 2026 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome True Freedom, located in Hope Mills, North Carolina.

Jennifer Faatz

Through a connected and supportive office structure, NextHome True Freedom provides knowledgeable insights for buyers and sellers throughout Fort Bragg, Hope Mills, Fayetteville, Lumberton, and the surrounding areas.

Under the leadership of broker/owner Jennifer Faatz, NextHome True Freedom provides tailored solutions for each client’s unique situation. The brokerage offers experience in probate sales, military relocation, residential resale, investment, and all other types of residential real estate.

Jennifer’s years of expertise across a range of different industries led her to real estate in 2019. She holds bachelor’s degrees in theater design and speech communications, and master’s degrees in human resource management and art education.

She has worked with traveling theater groups, in HR recruitment and retention, and as an elementary school arts teacher. In addition to her career experience, Jennifer has spent 28 years supporting her husband and brokerage co-owner, John Faatz Sr., a 29-year retired Special Forces Veteran of the United States Army. Having this personal experience, the couple has a deep understanding of military relocation and Veterans Administration loans.

“Real estate is the best part of every career I’ve ever had,” Jennifer said. “From theater, I learned to solve problems under pressure. Human resources taught me how to connect with people from every walk of life. Teaching gave me patience, empathy, and deep roots in my community. The hardest life lessons were learned through enduring years of deployments, raising children, and never forgetting where true freedom comes from. Today, real estate brings all of those talents together to serve my clients in the best possible way.”

After joining a local NextHome franchise, Jennifer quickly developed a reputation in real estate for honesty, integrity, and compassionate service. Today, that reputation has built a business that runs entirely on referrals and repeat clients.

“I tell my clients they never really get rid of me,” Jennifer said. “When we work together, I become part of their support system. I want them to know they always have someone they can call, whether it’s about real estate or simply finding the right person to help with a home maintenance question.”

“The greatest compliment I can receive is when a client trusts me enough to refer a friend or call me again years later,” Jennifer added. “I don’t take that trust lightly. Every transaction is personal, and my goal is to build relationships that last long after the closing table.”

As Jennifer’s clientele expanded, so did her vision for her business and the type of legacy she wanted to create.

After working as a NextHome agent for her entire real estate career, Jennifer knew she wanted to run her own NextHome franchise.

“My goal is to create a brokerage that’s about camaraderie and support, and an environment that never forgets that everybody brings something valuable to the table,” Jennifer said. “NextHome is a company that embraces the value of prioritizing people. I couldn’t imagine franchising with any other brand.”

As she looks to the future, Jennifer is building a brokerage where agents are supported, and clients receive a tailored partnership for their unique buying or selling story.

“I want people to know that we really care about the real people behind real estate,” Jennifer said. “Every client’s circumstances are different, and you have to care about the person, not just the transaction.”

“My goal is to build a company where people learn from one another, celebrate each other’s successes, and never feel like they’re navigating this business alone,” Jennifer added. “When agents are supported professionally and personally, clients benefit too. They receive not just one person’s expertise, but the collective knowledge, collaboration, and care of an entire team.”

Jennifer remains deeply connected to Gallberry Farm Elementary School in Grays Creek, where she taught art for nine years and where her own children attended elementary school. She continues to volunteer at school events, plays a key role in the annual fall festival and pageant, and gives back by supporting teachers with supplies and appreciation efforts. Beyond the elementary school, Jennifer supports Grays Creek High School FFA through donations and hands-on support. Jennifer also owns a small boutique in Lumberton where she connects with the community through a shared love of antiques and apparel.

Jennifer and John Sr. are the proud parents of two adult sons, John II and James. John II has built an accomplished career in livestock management and now manages sheep production on a large national solar farm. James is working on a master’s degree in real estate development as he pursues a career in commercial real estate and aspires to launch a church plant.

Please join us in congratulating Jennifer and John on the opening of NextHome True Freedom in Hope Mills, North Carolina!
