Pleasanton, CA — January 7th, 2020 — NextHome is proud to announce the newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Metro Real Estate Services. Based in Lino Lakes, Minnesota, the new brokerage represents the fourth NextHome franchised office opened in the state.
The brokerage is led by Minnesota-native Francine Marsolek and will serve clients across the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro areas including the seven-county metro area.
Francine brings over 16 years of experience to her new office, specializing in all types of residential transactions.
She began her career in 2003 with a small independent brokerage. She soon transitioned to a real estate company where she built a successful career for the next six years. Then, in 2011, Francine opened her own independent brokerage – North Metro REO.
“My business was growing by leaps and bounds and I realized that it was a great time to use my skills as an independent business owner,” Francine said.
At the time, the foreclosure market had a wealth of inventory and Francine became well-versed in REO transactions.
However, as the market continued to evolve, so did Francine. In 2017, she rebranded her company, changing its name to Metro Real Estate Services.
At the business’s high point, Francine had five agents working for her and, on her own, she was closing about 20 transactions per year.
As the business grew, Francine knew she needed to keep up with evolving technology and branding needs. As she considered how to scale up her company, Francine discovered NextHome. A marketing e-mail from the company landed in her inbox at a serendipitous time.
“I had looked at a few others, but I always came back to NextHome,” Francine said. “I loved the marketing and technology tools the company provided. I knew that as a small business, I needed to keep up with change. It takes a lot of money to first get all the technology pieces needed, and second to keep up with those tools as they evolve. By partnering with NextHome, I could build all their tools into my brokerage automatically.”
Today, Francine is building a team of committed, professional agents who can deliver NextHome’s “humans over houses” commitment to clients.
Family is incredibly important to Francine and when she isn’t growing her business, she enjoys spending time with her husband and five children.
Francine and Brent Marsolek have been married for 17 years and are the proud parents of George (30), William (27), Trista (24), Frank (22), and DiMaggio (17) and enjoy being in-laws to George’s wife Laura. Francine also enjoys spending time with her granddaughter Juniper and is looking forward to welcoming grandbaby number two in March.
Francine and Brent are avid curlers and play at the town’s Friday Fun League. They are also Minnesota Twins baseball fans and love to spend time at the region’s many lakes.
