Pleasanton, CA — September 7, 2018 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome New Beginnings. The brokerage represents the seventh office location opened in the state of Tennessee for the NextHome franchise.
The brokerage will be led by owner/operator and broker of record Annette Stithem. She will handle all day-to-day operations and provide agent support for the brokerage. NextHome New Beginnings will handle transactions in the Greater Nashville Area.
The brokerage will provide services such as first-time home buyer representation, investor purchases, multi-family purchases and sales, land representation, condominium purchases, senior housing needs, and new construction.
Annette started her real estate career in 1997. Working on several development projects while living in Camdenton, Missouri, she helped with licensing and permits for developments such as the Lake of the Ozarks Old Kinderhook Resort and the surrounding community.
In 2000, Annette relocated to Kansas City, Kansas and started selling real estate for J.D. Reece Company (now known as Reece & Nichols, A Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate). Licensed in both Missouri and Kansas, Annette’s strong sales had her rise to the top 5% of agents in her office of 150+ agents. In 2006, Annette also worked as a real estate business coach through the legendary real estate trainer and author, Darryl Davis.
For more than a decade, she continued top level sales until she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 2013 to be closer to her son, Byron.
Loving the city, Annette knew she would want to put roots down in Nashville. She started with a local real estate company as the lead recruiter. Over the course of four years, Annette was instrumental in bringing over 350 agents to the brokerage.
In early 2018, Annette still enjoyed working alongside talented agents, but felt it was time to start and lead her own company instead of someone else’s.
Before finding NextHome, Annette knew first-hand how many brokerages struggled with the challenge of bringing technology and value to agents. By starting her new brokerage as a NextHome franchisee, she knew she found the cost-effective way to adapt to today’s customer and agent needs.
“At NextHome New Beginnings, we want to focus on respecting our client’s needs,” said Annette. “We do this by providing our agents the very best in training, technology and tools, marketing pieces, and holding high standards. Our agents will be passionate about helping the community and have a sense of purpose in working with buyers and sellers throughout the Nashville area.”
In keeping up with the ideals of community involvement, Annette intends to staff her brokerage with talented individuals who just need an opportunity to shine.
“I intend to staff NextHome New Beginnings with Individuals with Autism who need a chance to shine in a work role,” said Annette. “My son-in-law teaches special needs and I volunteered in one of the camps. I found it to be so rewarding and the attendees of the camp really touched my heart. It’s become a passion of mine to help provide opportunities and NextHome New Beginnings will be a brokerage full of opportunities.”
When not selling real estate, Annette spends as much time as possible with her family. She has two children. Her daughter Katy is a bone marrow transplant nurse. Katy’s husband, Brandon, works with Individuals with Special Needs.
Her son, Byron, is the owner of a sake brewery in Nashville. He has a seven-year-old son, Booker.
