Pleasanton, CA— August 2, 2017 — NextHome is proud to announce our latest addition to the franchise, NextHome Premier Properties. The brokerage is the second NextHome location for the franchisee.
NextHome Premier Properties’ branch location in Billings will be owned and operated by Corey Oliszczak. He will be joined on the leadership team by top producing REALTOR®, Karen Campbell, who will serve as the broker for the new location.
The Billings-based brokerage will provide residential real estate sales to the communities in Yellowstone, Sweet Grass, Musselshell, Golden Valley, and Stillwater counties .
With the success of his Bozeman-based brokerage which opened in June of 2016, it was natural for Oliszczak to expand into the Billings market.
Billings is home to 170,000 residents and is the largest city in the state.
As a double major graduate of Montana State University Billings, Oliszczak started his professional career as an Emergency Medical Technician.
“I really enjoyed helping people and what better field to help others than the medical profession,” said Oliszczak.
With the intention of eventually becoming a doctor, Oliszczak began taking the classes necessary for him to achieve his Masters in Healthcare Administration.
In 2011, Oliszczak’s wife, Shonda, was pregnant with their first child. Knowing the intensity of medical school classes would take him away from his growing family, Oliszczak made the choice to focus on family rather than school.
Turning his focus towards business building in 2012, Oliszczak met his current business partner who encouraged him to help with an existing business. Shonda had introduced the two, as she was the Chief Financial Officer for the partner’s company.
“He asked if I could help him with his real estate building business,” recalls Oliszczak. “He saw me as someone who could help because of my strength in working with numbers, my previous history of working as an EMT and having to being calm under pressure. I originally wanted nothing to do with real estate, but my partner convinced me to give it a try.”
The partnership was a huge success.
Oliszczak and his business partner spent the next few years building home subdivisions – which included the very popular 18 home subdivision, Cattail Creek.
While successful at the traditional building of properties, the partners felt there was a better way to build more efficient homes that prospective homeowners would find value in.
In 2014, Oliszczak and his partner joined forces with a group out of Salt Lake City, Utah to design and develop new styles and methods of home construction.
“We were determined to be builders who focused on building homes faster with better utility efficiency at the same cost of traditionally built homes,” said Oliszczak. “With over two years of research, testing, and building strategic relationships, we are set to begin constructing these incredibly efficient homes in 2017. We feel confident that prospective homebuyers will appreciate the thought process behind our homes.”
Just a few years into his real estate sales career, Oliszczak has achieved exceptional annual sales numbers. In 2015, Oliszczak sold over $20 million in real estate properties and 2016 has him on pace to sell over $25 million in volume.
In early 2016, several real estate colleagues suggested Oliszczak look at an up-and-coming real estate franchise that might really help his business. After initially checking out the company, Oliszczak felt the company’s value proposition seemed too good to be true.
“I remember looking at the NextHome website and thinking, ‘There’s no way a company can provide all this to their franchisees,’” recalls Oliszczak. “After spending the time researching the company in depth and speaking with NextHome’s Vice President of Sales, Charis Moreno, it made perfect sense for our company to franchise with NextHome.”
While focused on his business, Oliszczak still takes the time necessary to give back to his community.
Among the many contributions to his local community, Oliszczak serves as a volunteer at the Big Brother/Big Sister program and has made a huge difference in the lives of many youth in the Bozeman/Billings area.
When not selling real estate, the Oliszczak family enjoys everything the state of Montana has to offer.
“You can’t live in Montana and just stay indoors,” said Oliszczak. “Hiking, fishing, boating, camping… it’s all here in Montana and our family loves to do all of it. Shonda and I really want our son, Teagan, to experience everything nature provides us.”
Please join us in congratulating Corey, Karen, and the rest of the team at NextHome Premier Properties on their second NextHome location!
