Pleasanton, CA— October 4, 2016 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Capitol City Group. The brokerage will represent the 25th NextHome franchise location in the state of California.
The brokerage will be owned and operated by Sean Safholm. The Sacramento-based brokerage will provide residential real estate services to the communities of Sacramento and Placer counties.
Licensed in real estate since 1999, Safholm has been an experienced lender for over 17 years. He spent seven years at Countrywide Mortgage, one of the largest real estate lending companies in the world.
Safholm specialized in loans for local police officers, firefighters, military veterans, and state workers.
“It was very important for me to work locally to make sure these employees were provided opportunities for home ownership in the Sacramento region,” said Safholm.
In 2008, Safholm moved his expertise to Land Home Financial Services where he served as a Regional Vice President. Safholm was responsible for overseeing the opening and operations of five office locations throughout the Sacramento area.
In 2015, as the market changed, Safholm felt it was the right time to build his own real estate brokerage business. He was introduced to the NextHome real estate franchise through a friend – NextHome’s Vice President of Strategy, Keith Robinson.
“I’m fortunate to have built a lot of strong REALTOR® relationships in our local community.” Said Safholm. “With my experience in client services, I am very excited about opening my own real estate brokerage under the NextHome brand.”
When not working, you will find Safholm with his wife, Preet Kalirai. They enjoy traveling and taking day trips to Northern California destinations such as Napa’s wine country and the mountains surrounding Lake Tahoe.
