Pleasanton, CA— September 23, 2016 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Ross Realty Group. The firm will represent the 3rd location in the state of Massachusetts.
The brokerage will be owned and operated by 15-year real estate veteran, Colleen Ross. The Foxboro-based brokerage will provide residential real estate services to the cities of Mansfield, Foxboro, Norwood, Dedham, Walpole, Norton, and the remainder of Norfolk County.
Beginning her career in 2001, Ross wanted to have a career where she was able to interact closely with people. Her interest in real estate started when her and her husband, Michael, purchased their home.
“Our REALTOR® did such a fantastic job with our home purchase,” recalls Ross. “It was wonderful to see someone not only be a professional, but be such a friendly resource during the entire transaction. I fell in love with the process and knew it was a career worth pursuing.”
She started her real estate sales career with a local independent brokerage, Jack Conway Real Estate, where she built the foundation for her career.
Two years later, she made the move to RE/MAX Real Estate Center located in Foxboro. Over the next ten years, Ross focused on building strong relationships with her clientele. This resulted in her business seeing more than 40 closed transactions annually.
In 2012, Ross made two significant changes in her business. She attained her broker’s license and switched brokerages to Monarch Realty. Even though she switched brokerages, her strong sales numbers continued, selling nearly 50 homes each year.
In early 2016, Ross began entertaining the idea of going out on her own and starting her own brokerage.
“I really enjoyed my time working with great real estate professionals under their brokerages,” said Ross. “But I really felt like it was time for me to go out my own and take the leap of faith to start my own company.”
“Michael started the research to help me find the right franchise affiliation for the brokerage,” added Ross. “When we showed me NextHome, I was instantly drawn to the company.”
Ross attributes relationships as to why she made the decision to affiliate with NextHome.
“From the very beginning, the communication from the NextHome Corporate Team was first class,” said Ross. “Whether it was Charis Moreno (NextHome’s VP of Sales) or Taylor Cannon (Member Services Manager), I was blown away by the level of support and service provided by the NextHome team.”
When not selling real estate, the Ross’ enjoy spending time with family. The high school sweethearts are parents to daughter, Michaela and son, Collin, and grandparents to Michaela’s son, Avery. Living in Foxboro, the Ross family are huge New England Patriots fans and are proud supporters of the team.
