NextHome Modern broker/owner Ken Fox has been a recognized mid-century modern specialist since he started in real estate in 2012. He is also a trusted resource for the thousands of unique Eichler homes in the Bay Area market.
In 2021, Ken used his unique real estate knowledge to open a NextHome franchise in Austin, Texas. After building a strong leadership team in Austin under the assistance of Office Managing Broker, Quartermetra Hughes, Ken was ready to launch a second office back in his Bay Area real estate roots.
“I am excited to offer Bay Area buyers and sellers excellent communication, great marketing, and seamless real estate experiences,” Ken said.
NextHome Modern’s San Francisco office serves clients throughout San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, San Mateo, and the San Francisco Peninsula.
The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has more than 600 active office locations across the country.

Ken and his husband Alex Eagle have been together for 22 years, and they are building a new phase of their life together in the Golden Gate Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. Together, Ken and Alex enjoy exploring the Bay Area’s architectural gems, finding unique food, visiting their second homes in Austin and New Orleans, and taking weekend trips to nearby wine country.
