Pleasanton, CA — November 18, 2022 —NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome QC Realty, located in Rapids City, Illinois. The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has 606 active office locations across the country.
NextHome QC Realty offers clients professional, client-centered service from associates who are deeply knowledgeable about the area.
Conveniently located in the Quad Cities area, NextHome QC Realty serves clients throughout the Quad Cities and surrounding communities. The Quad Cities consist of Davenport and Bettendorf in Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline in Illinois.
NextHome QC Realty is owned by Debra Holdampf, who was born and raised in the area and is excited to launch QC Realty in the community where she spent most of her life. Debra is also an experienced small business owner with a talent for team building and client-centered service.
Mel Regenwether will be NextHome QC Realty’s office manager. Top-producing associate Rae Carlson will join Debra at NextHome QC Realty to create the QC Realty Gold Team.
Before obtaining her real estate license in 2012, Debra ran a large family-owned manufacturing company.
“I was traveling all over the world with my company, and the pace started to take its toll,” Debra explained. “Family is important to me, so I started in real estate seeking a career that aligned better with my lifestyle goals.”
Debra started her real estate sales career with a local independent before moving to RE/MAX, where she met her partner Rae Carlson.
Debra’s team achieved about $11 million per year in sales. These numbers become more remarkable when considering that average home prices in Illinois are about $140,000 while average prices in Iowa hover around $270,000.
Debra obtained her managing broker’s license, knowing someday that she would like to be her own boss and open her own brokerage. However, she was looking for a franchise that would align with her values. Debra wanted to build a business focused on quality of service rather than quantity of agents.
“A lot of places I looked into wanted large agent rosters, and having run a large business with more than 90 employees, I knew that wasn’t something I wanted,” Debra said. “When I discovered NextHome, I was drawn to the fact that I could grow at my own pace.”
Debra was also impressed by NextHome’s technology package, and the warm professionalism shown by the corporate team.
“The reassurance from the people I was talking to, and the fact that they had great support systems helped me know that NextHome was the right fit for me,” Debra said.
Today, NextHome QC Realty offers clients in the Quad Cities access to outstanding professionalism and agent talent, supported by a broker who is committed to both agent and client success.
“With this solid foundation of support for our agents, they can in turn provide exceptional service to buyers and sellers,” Debra said. “I really enjoy helping people achieve the next chapter in life. Everybody’s story is just a little different. You get to meet a lot of people and make a lot of new friends, and I love that about my job.”
Debra and her husband Stan are the proud parents of seven children and seven grandchildren. In their spare time, Debra and Stan love to travel and spend time with family.
