Pleasanton, CA — February 8, 2024 — NextHome is thrilled to announce that several leaders on their senior team have been selected as RISMedia 2024 Real Estate Newsmakers — a dynamic group of key influencers making headlines as a result of their newsworthy contributions to the real estate industry, and their efforts to positively affect the consumers and communities they serve.

RISMedia, the leader in U.S. real estate news and information services, announced its 2024 Real Estate Newsmakers this month in both an online directory on RISMedia.com and in the February issue of its flagship publication, Real Estate magazine.

RISMedia’s 2024 Real Estate Newsmakers were nominated in 2023 by RISMedia readers and editors and are showcased in the following categories: Influencers, Trailblazers, Futurists, Achievers, Crusaders, and Luminaries.

Chief Executive Officer James Dwiggins was named a Luminary, a category for “the iconic leaders who have dedicated their lives to the betterment of their companies, agents, consumers, and the industry at large.” As NextHome members continue to be faced with industry challenges, from rates to lawsuits, James has positioned the company’s strategies and training opportunities to guide, educate, and protect.

Chief Operating Officer Tei Baishiki was named a Trailblazer, a category described as “the bold-thinking trendsetters for their contributions to industry innovation, game-changing technologies, creative professional and consumer programs, and so much more.” Tei oversees the franchise’s operations and the innovation and implementation of new technologies that give our network the edge to stay ahead of the competition. He also continually audits the adoption rates of the tools and services under the NextHome umbrella to ensure the investment of each is worth it for our members, especially considering the current state of the industry.

Chief Strategy Officer Keith Robinson was named a Futurist, a category described as “the forward-thinkers who are working to advance the conversation in an ever-changing real estate landscape to achieve greater success for real estate professionals and the consumers they serve.” The future of real estate is continually positioned to showcase how ever-evolving technology will conduct the buying and selling of real estate. Keith looks at the future of the company (and the industry) with a broader lens – keeping the human at the center of the transaction.

Vice President of Sales Charis Moreno was named a Crusader, a category for “the champions of a better way who have a passion for a cause greater than themselves.” NextHome’s commitment to its people goes beyond the buying and selling of homes, it’s why the franchise’s motto Humans Over Houses® is so pertinent. This year, and every year, the company offers different opportunities for its members to give back to their communities, learn how to better serve their clients, and protect themselves. Charis has helped catapult many of these opportunities for the franchise.

Vice President of Learning & Development Jim Fischetti was named a Luminary, a category for “the iconic leaders who have dedicated their lives to the betterment of their companies, agents, consumers and the industry at large.” Jim’s commitment to education and coaching has and will continue to support NextHome brokers and agents through the turbulent industry challenges. Understanding that those perils have affected the bottom line of our members. Faced with these challenges he created an expanded offering to allow more people to invest in their business in an attractive economic model.

“It’s always so inspiring to see the incredible accomplishments of so many real estate professionals around the country and this year’s group of 2024 Newsmakers is no exception. From the creativity and innovation being implemented through the shifting and challenging 2023 market, to industry records being broken, to the wonderful charitable work being done across the nation, we continue to be amazed by the ingenuity and success of these real estate professionals, more than 300 of whom we are honoring on our seventh year of publishing Real Estate Newsmakers,” said John Featherston, Founder, CEO, and Publisher of RISMedia.

NextHome would like to thank the entire NextHome membership for their ongoing support, and dedication to making a difference in the real estate industry and in the lives of those in their local communities.
