Pleasanton, CA — February 9, 2022 — NextHome is thrilled to announce that their entire leadership team has been selected as RISMedia 2022 Real Estate Newsmakers — a dynamic group of key influencers making headlines as a result of their newsworthy contributions to the real estate industry, and their efforts to positively affect the consumers and communities they serve.

RISMedia, the leader in U.S. real estate news and information services, announced its 2022 Real Estate Newsmakers earlier this month in both an online directory on RISMedia.com and in the February issue of its flagship publication, Real Estate magazine.

RISMedia’s 2022 Real Estate Newsmakers were nominated in 2021 by RISMedia readers and editors and are showcased in the following categories: Influencers, Trailblazers, Futurists, Achievers, Crusaders, Motivators, Luminaries, and Trendsetters. NextHome’s entire senior management team has been recognized in five of the different categories.

Chief Executive Officer James Dwiggins was named a Luminary, a category described as “The Iconic Leaders.” James leads the NextHome franchise, and although it is growing at an impeccable rate, he remains focused on the people – the clients, the communities, and the NextHome members.

“As the franchise continues to grow, even through the unique challenges facing the industry and the world we’re living in today, NextHome will continue to deliver on the Humans Over Houses promise,” said James.

Chief Operating Officer Tei Baishiki was named a Crusader, a category for “The Champions of a Better Way.” As the challenges of 2020 spilled over into 2021, Tei prioritized the safety and well-being of NextHome’s employees and members. The company was not only able to keep all of their staff, but even brought in more corporate team members, continuing their growth. He helped the company provide high-quality service to NextHome agents and brokers and keep morale up, even through some of the most unprecedented times.

“Through the difficulties last two years presented not only for our industry, but also for the day-to-day lives of our team members, I’m proud of the hard work everyone has accomplished on the NextHome corporate office team,” said Tei.

Vice President of Sales Charis Moreno was named a Futurist, dubbed as “The Forward Thinkers.” NextHome’s flexible, affordable, automated, and cloud-based design has been a critical factor in its recent success and will continue to drive the company forward. The franchise’s growth can also be attributed to Charis’s deep understanding of how technology can help brokers and agents be more productive and successful.

“More than ever, we are craving human connectivity, and what better way to create a sense of community than helping people find their next home,” said Charis. “We will continue to keep the human connection at the core of our business at NextHome now, and in the future.”

Vice President Imran Poladi was named as a Motivator, known as “The Compassionate Who Effect Change.” Having steady leadership was never more important than in 2021. As the person trusted by thousands of REALTORS® at 570+ franchised offices nationwide for NextHome, Imran led from the front. A motivator by nature, he helped members serve their community and better themselves during the uncertainty of the global pandemic, encouraging NextHome professionals to be resources for their individual communities as well as dedicate time to training and education.

“I’m very proud of the way NextHome agents and brokers showed up for their communities, not only as a resource, but as friends and neighbors,” said Imran.

Chief Strategy Officer Keith Robinson was named an Influencer, a group for “The Thought Leaders.” Never losing sight of the human connection was Keith’s mantra this past year, and one that he has helped NextHome adopt through a wide-ranging digital manifestation of the stories that drive real estate. Using the hashtag #HumansOverHouses, Keith made sure NextHome was able to highlight all the stressful, beautiful, amazing, and powerful moments that people strive for and have massive pride in during the home-buying process.

“So long as we focus on the human being in the process, the houses will take care of themselves,” said Keith. “Plus, it’s also what agents are best in the world at—shepherding people through the stressful process of buying or selling their home.”

“From records being broken, to the glass ceilings being shattered and the creativity and technology innovation being implemented through our changing times, to the always-inspiring and wonderful charitable work being done across the nation, we continue to be amazed by the incredible ingenuity and success of the professionals in the real estate community,” said John Featherston, CEO, president and publisher of RISMedia. “Once again, we are proud to recognize the hard work, dedication and determination of real estate’s finest professionals—the 2022 Real Estate Newsmakers—who went above and beyond in 2021 amid the challenges and opportunities of this historic market. Help us in celebrating their hard-earned recognition.”

RISMedia’s Real Estate Newsmakers were chosen based on nominations received through an online nomination process on RISMedia.com, and by nominations from RISMedia’s in-house editorial team and other industry sources. Nominations for RISMedia’s Real Estate Newsmakers are collected on an ongoing basis throughout the course of the year.

NextHome would like to thank the entire NextHome membership for their ongoing support, and dedication to making a difference in the real estate industry and in the lives of those in their local communities.
