Pleasanton, CA — April 28, 2021 — NextHome is pleased to announce the newest addition to the franchise, NextHome PaperTown, based in Clyde, North Carolina. The brokerage represents the 29th office location opened in North Carolina for the NextHome franchise and the 563rd NextHome office opened nationally.
Located just 20 minutes from Asheville, NextHome PaperTown will serve clients across Haywood, Jackson, Madison, and Buncombe county.
The brokerage is owned by Teresa Bailey and Jeremy Colclasure – a husband and wife team who are building their business on a foundation of compassionate service.
Teresa obtained her real estate license in 2018. She started her career with two nationally recognized franchises, benefitting from great mentorship and guidance. Most recently, Teresa sold with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Heritage in Canton, North Carolina.
During her first year in business, Teresa’s hard work created $1 million in sales volume. Last year, she sold more than $7 million in a market where the average home price hovers around $225,000. As she considers her career, Teresa is most proud of the people she helps.
“Most of my sales are in the under $175,000 range because I tend to work with a lot of people with low credit scores or who are first-time homebuyers,” Teresa said. “I enjoy helping people achieve homeownership when they thought it might never be possible for them.”
Teresa’s business also includes her experience with commercial sales and vast experience in the area of mountain luxury homes.
From the beginning, Teresa’s goal was to build her own business. After talking with other REALTORS®, she discovered NextHome and knew it was the right fit for her. As a new NextHome broker, Teresa hopes to create a business built on service and compassion for those in her hometown.
“I do this to help people,” Teresa said. “I was born and raised in Haywood County and I want people who live there to be happy. My goal is to help people realize that they can own their own homes.”
Though Teresa has spent her years in real estate refining many valuable skills, her greatest strength is an ability to love and nurture those around her. This talent has been refined through her 23 years of experience as a foster parent. In that time, Teresa and Jeremy have provided a temporary home for more than 300 children. Teresa and Jeremy are the proud parents of Dustin, Skyler, Chandi, Samuel, Jack, and twins Gabby & Jasmine. Additionally, they are Gigi and Poppy to Sawyer, Bryson, Everlee, Lainey and several foster grandchildren.
