Pleasanton, CA— October 6th, 2015 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Nexus. This is the franchise’s 1st brokerage in the state of North Dakota.
Owned and operated by Dan Perrine, the Fargo-based brokerage will provide residential real estate sales services to the cities of Fargo, West Fargo, Mapleton, Casselton, Hickson, Horace, and Harwood. NextHome Nexus will also service areas in the state of Minnesota such as Moorhead, Sabin, Georgetown, Dilworth, Glyndon, and Hawley.
Calling the Fargo area home for nearly 20 years, Perrine is no stranger to business in the community. Founder of several start up businesses in the area, Perrine looks forward to the challenge of growing a real estate brokerage that is people-based, rather than transaction based.
Actively selling real estate for the past three years, Perrine has already tapped into his local community ties to sell a fair amount of real estate in the area. And he suggests that he is just getting started.
“With the Fargo community being such a tight-knit community, personal relationships are key in creating a successful business,” said Perrine. “I’ve been fortunate enough to have met and collaborated with some of our most successful business owners and community leaders. I have learned a lot from the relationships and believe these relationships are what will be the foundation of a successful real estate brokerage.”
These business relationships created the network that ultimately became minority partners in the brokerage’s ownership group.
“I’ve partnered with many local business owners to help create NextHome Nexus,” said Perrine. “With the network of local community business owners as part of the ownership group of the brokerage, it sets the stage for a real estate company that connects with the community.”
Perrine’s business background focused on traditional networking but he believes true relationships are forged through meeting people face to face and creating strong, deep relationships.
Perrine candidly admits the attraction to building a real estate brokerage with the client in mind is what drew him to the NextHome concept.
“I wasn’t looking at being a part of any type of franchise,” recalls Perrine. “But I just so happened to be flipping through REALTOR® Magazine and saw the franchise comparison chart. I checked out the NextHome website to see what the company was all about and found myself clicking page after page wanting to know more about the company. After talking with [NextHome’s Vice President of Sales] Charis, I knew NextHome aligned with exactly what I was looking for in a franchise – a consumer focused company with a high-tech, high-touch approach.”
Perrine maintains that while the technology his brokerage will provide will be a huge benefit to his clientele, the relationships of the community is the main focus.
“The word “nexus” has two meanings: ‘a connected group’ and ‘the central and most important point or place’. That’s exactly what NextHome Nexus is all about. Being the real estate company that connects with the community.”
