Pleasanton, CA— June 1, 2015 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome American Dream. The brokerage is the first NextHome franchisee in Monterey County, California.
Owned and operated by husband and wife team, Ruben and Deborah Dominguez, the Monterey-based brokerage is dedicated to serving the needs of clients in the cities of Monterey, Pacific Grove, Seaside, Marina, Salinas, Pebble Beach, Carmel, Carmel Valley and the rest of Monterey County. The brokerage will offer residential and commercial sales, as well as property management services to one the most beautiful coastlines in the nation.
With over 72 years of combined real estate experience, Ruben and Deborah bring their own individual strengths to their 20-year-old brokerage.
Licensed since 1977, Ruben has seen just about everything in real estate. Starting his real estate career in Southern California, he quickly became a top salesperson in his area, achieving some of the highest honors in the real estate industry. His best year saw him sell an incredible $16 million in sales volume.
In addition, he adds nearly a decade in the title industry as the National Trainer for Stewart Title. With his training background, Ruben became an incredible resource when it came to motivating and training those who want to better themselves in the industry.
Deborah has an impressive resume in her own right. Licensed since 1981 and a broker since 1990, Deborah was the sales manager for one of the top Century 21 brokerages in the United States at that time – Century 21 My Real Estate. She rose to the title of General Manager and supervised additional offices, including Century 21 Park – an office with over 100 agents.
After relocating to the Monterey area, the couple started a new brokerage under the name American Dream Homes. This brokerage has served the Monterey community for the past 20 years. Changing brokerage services to fit the ever-changing needs of the local community, the office had a short sale negotiation division and an REO department to help those going through the foreclosure process.
In affiliating with NextHome, Ruben saw the opportunity to align with a company that could help his agents be as productive as possible.
“As a brokerage with an ownership team of 72-years of real estate experience, we feel very good about being able to provide the guidance that agents need in this competitive market,” said Ruben Dominguez. “Deborah and I felt by adding the NextHome brand to our already solid brokerage, we could provide agents with the tools necessary to be the premier real estate company in the Salinas and Monterey areas.”
In addition to their outstanding real estate business, the Dominguez’s pride themselves in working with the local community to improve the lives of those around them. They work with volunteer services in the Monterey area such as Salvation Army, as well several non-profit organizations that specialize in helping the homeless.
Even with all their commitments to both business and volunteering in the community, they have the most joy being parents to six children, 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
“Spending time with our loved ones really is the most important thing,” add Ruben. “We love our kids and all the hard work pays off knowing that we get to go home to our family.”
