We’ve had the opportunity to work with John as both a sellers and buyers agent. In both situations we’ve always known John had our best interests at heart. On our recent purchase, we weren’t sure if we were looking for an existing home, new construction, or to build. John set us up with meetings with a number of builders, some of whom had both new construction and build options. He also worked with us to find the community and neighborhood which would best meet our needs. He was open to our questions and never tried to push any type of agenda. John also went above and beyond for us after the agreements were reached. Our transactions were occurring remotely and John stepped in to cover any and all tasks we needed. He covered our inspection, a final walk through, and even the closing while we tied things up on the other side of our relocation. He was truly on our side throughout and did everything he could for a successful transaction and an easy transition. When it came time for our mother to sell the home she and dad built in the earlier 50's she was very lucky to have chosen Joe O'Shasky as her realtor. Though the home had been very well maintained and updated over the years, selling a one owner home built that long ago in the country brings with it a whole set of issues that the average home doesn't have. Joe found the buyer within a couple weeks but then is when Joe's knowledge, expertise, and hard work came into play. The home had basement wall, well, flood plain, and other issues that had to be addressed. Each time something came up Joe knew how to address it. Since mom had moved out of the home and we kids all live out of town it was up to Joe to drive to the home to let workers in, run well water, among other things. It was all this extra effort and problem solving capability that made Joe so valuable to us. Joe did an incredible job in finding the buyer but more importantly getting the home closed. I just closed on my first home last Friday, July 30th, 2021 and my experience was incomparable to what I've heard from others in my circle who have purchased homes, the biggest reason for that was Brittany!! Dana faced a difficult task selling my house as it was a very big, old house with some clear trouble spots. Dana did a great job pricing the home correctly, working very hard showing it, as well as being very responsive to my concerns. She also worked hard at the end to tie up the loose ends.

In order words, she helped us understand the market in which we were looking to buy.

When we finally found "the one," Carlee helped us write a very aggressive offer the same day the house was listed, ran out and gave us a video tour the next day, and then even suggested amending the offer to make it even more competitive. The seller accepted the offer the next day, and we ended up feeling very happy that the offers we put in on the other three houses were rejected. :)
Throughout the escrow process, Carlee stayed on top of everything, providing us with a clear schedule of deadlines and keeping us informed immediately when something new or unusual was needed. She stayed in contact with our lender and kept them accountable. Carlee also provided us with several referrals for home inspectors and insurance agents in the area. (As an aside, hire Paul at On Point Home Inspections! He's wonderful!) Anytime I or my partner panicked about something, which was fairly often (ahem, I did mention we were first time home buyers, right?), Carlee was always available to talk us through our fears and help calm us down. Despite our anxieties, our whole escrow process was actually very smooth, and we closed on time. Carlee even gave us our first house-warming gift!
