Pleasanton, CA — June 5, 2026 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Verity, located in Wichita Falls, Texas. The brokerage joins a growing national network of more than 500 NextHome offices and thousands of brokers and agents.
Located about two hours north of Dallas, NextHome Verity provides real estate expertise throughout Wichita Falls, Henrietta, Burkburnett, Iowa Park, Holliday, Archer City, Dean, and the remainder of Wichita, Clay, and Archer counties.
Agents at NextHome Verity offer a wealth of local knowledge in land, farm, relocation, ranch, and all other types of residential real estate. In addition, NextHome Verity agents have a long history of providing expertise to military families relocating to Sheppard Air Force Base.
NextHome Verity is owned by lifelong local resident Sarah Lareau and her husband, Chris Lareau.
“I love helping people navigate real estate in the same area where I was raised,” Sarah said. “You can get anywhere in 10 minutes. We have people coming in from the Metroplex who settle here because it’s just a great town. We have military families who retire here. We have people who were stationed here years ago and have come back to put down roots. I’ve watched this community grow, and it’s rewarding to be part of helping people find a home here.”
Sarah holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in human resource management from Texas Woman’s University. After starting her career in HR staffing and recruiting, Sarah pivoted toward full-time real estate sales.
In 2015, Sarah joined Assent Real Estate, run by her longtime friend and mentor, Summer Mills.
“Summer is like a big sister to me,” Sarah said. “She taught me so much, not just about the business, but about what it means to truly serve your clients. I hold myself and my team to a higher standard because of her influence.”
Sarah’s appetite for learning, her commitment to clients, and her entrepreneurial spirit quickly built a thriving referral-based business.
“Every client deserves clear communication, thoughtful preparation, and direct guidance throughout the entire process,” Sarah said. “Whether we’re helping a seller develop a strong pricing strategy or preparing a buyer to make confident decisions, our approach is always strategic, transparent, and personal. At the end of the day, we want our clients to feel informed, supported, and confident enough to truly trust us.”
In 2020, Sarah built the Sarah Lareau Team. Together with Marcy Martin, listing specialist, and Desiree Wilson, buyer specialist, the team elevated real estate experiences across the area.
The Lareau Team’s transparent approach to real estate generated more than $100 million in sales volume over a decade — a remarkable achievement in a market where home prices hover around $255,000.
In 2019, Sarah was voted Rising Star by the Wichita Falls Association of REALTORS®. In 2024, she earned Salesperson of the Year from the same organization.
As Sarah’s career grew, she thought carefully about the next steps for her business.
“I was looking for a truly one-of-a-kind opportunity to build my own office and my own legacy,” Sarah said. “I don’t remember exactly how I came across NextHome, but the branding immediately drew me in.”
When Sarah looked deeper, she discovered a franchise that aligned perfectly with her business philosophy.

But what sealed the deal for Sarah was the people.
