Pleasanton, CA — March 13, 2026 — NextHome is proud to announce the opening of NextHome Paramount’s newest location in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Founded by owners Jayme and Bobby Downey, NextHome Paramount is expanding its footprint along the Carolina coastline and strengthening its presence in one of the region’s most desirable coastal markets.
The North Myrtle Beach location launches in partnership with longtime local broker Sandra Cribb, a lifetime resident and trusted expert in the coastal market. Cribb will oversee Stay Salty Vacations, a short-term rental management company, and serve as Director of Agent Development for the coastal region, bringing decades of local insight into buying and owning property along the coast.
Through the partnership with Stay Salty Vacations, NextHome Paramount now offers buyers and investors a more informed approach to coastal real estate. Along the coast, factors such as HOA rental restrictions, short-term rental allowances, flood considerations, and seasonal demand can dramatically impact a property’s long-term value and performance. By combining brokerage expertise with professional short-term rental management insight, clients gain clarity on both lifestyle and investment potential before making a purchase.
North Myrtle Beach — the northern portion of the greater Myrtle Beach area — was selected for its quieter coastal character, established neighborhoods, and strong opportunities in both luxury and investment properties. Its proximity to the North Carolina border also allows seamless service across the broader coastal corridor. With the new location, NextHome Paramount’s coastal reach now stretches from Pawleys Island through North Myrtle Beach and into coastal North Carolina, including Holden Beach, Oak Island, and Wilmington.
For owners Jayme and Bobby Downey, expanding along the coast is also deeply personal.
“Any time we can get out on the water, we do,” said Jayme Downey. “Bobby is happiest with a fishing pole in his hand and our two boys nearby. I grew up between Hilton Head and Duck, North Carolina, and there is something about marsh views at sunset — the quiet stillness, the way the light settles over the water, the salt air — that always feels like home. And I will never stop walking the shoreline looking for the perfect conch shell.”
“We’re not just covering the beaches,” Downey added. “We’re building a bridge that connects people to the Carolina coast — whether they’re searching for an investment opportunity, a second home, or a place where life slows down just enough to enjoy the view.”
