NextHome Power Realty is owned by the dynamic duo of Raquel Uggiano and Lydia Wietsma. Both women bring knowledge and compassion to each client’s real estate experience.
Lydia is a real estate author and probate specialist. She has been building a reputation for honesty, integrity, and unparalleled expertise since starting her real estate career in 2003.
During her first years in real estate, Lydia was also a medical sales professional.
“Soon, my real estate career ramped up and I realized I couldn’t do both,” Lydia said. “When deciding which path to take, I had a really impactful transaction. I did the right thing and stood up for my client, despite pressure to do otherwise. I helped someone when they needed it most. That was the moment I knew I could really make a difference with this career.”
Years later, Lydia’s dedication to integrity and client-first real estate has helped numerous families feel peace in difficult sales situations.
Lydia found her niche as a Certified Senior and Probate Real Estate Specialist. She became the go-to resource for local attorneys, probate courts, and families. Her professional path eventually led to NextHome, where she has been an agent since 2020.
“Lydia is a patient educator and a true advocate,” said NextHome Power Realty co-owner Raquel Uggiano. “She goes the extra mile to guide clients with empathy, connect them to the right resources, and help them take their next step with confidence.”
Raquel has been an advocate for her own clients since starting her real estate career in 2008. She has vast experience across a wide variety of real estate roles including as an assistant, broker, and agent.
Raquel has extensive experience in high-volume real estate operations, having managed between 600 to 800 REO transactions annually. As a transaction coordinator, she went above and beyond overseeing contracts, coordinating with asset managers, smoothing out cash-for-keys transactions, and even helping with property inspections. Her deep involvement in every aspect of the real estate process made her an indispensable force behind the scenes.
“Raquel has made a lot of people highly successful because she’s organized, she’s detailed, and she’s exceptional at operating a business,” Lydia said. “Throughout her career, Raquel has taken every agent she’s supported to the next level, consistently adding value without seeking recognition or reward.”
Raquel and Lydia have been working together seamlessly since 2022, most recently at a local NextHome franchise. When it came time to embark on the next phase of their careers, this dynamic duo knew that opening their own NextHome franchise was the right choice.
