We feel that Courtney went above and beyond the duties of a realtor. Not only listing our home, having open houses, and showings to interested buyers, but she offered to mow the lawn before the closing date if it needed it. She hired in qualified people to handle any inspection problems and saw that they were taken care of. She also offered to send us any mail that may still go to the place we sold, since we moved away from that area. This is something no other realtor did on previous homes we sold. Erik is fantastic. He took the time to answer our questions promptly and if he didn’t have an answer he knew where to get it for you.

We did some research, but obviously buying an home is an involved process. Erik walked us through everything early on. He informed us of fees we would inevitably end up paying, and gave us an idea of what they would cost so there wouldn’t be any surprises.

Erik is super empathetic and patient too. Buying a house is a learning experience, and as such it can be stressful, he handled everything gracefully.

I will start by saying that Jenny Graham and her team did a great job. Recently we sold a business, and we were very reluctant about a new buying–selling experience. At the time of buying the house in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, we were living in California and Jenny went above and beyond to make the process smooth while we were away.

Our journey in search of an Idaho home started in 2019. Over the years we made a seemingly endless number of trips from the Seattle area to northern Idaho to look at houses. Spending weekends in Idaho turned out to be its own reward. All the trips we made helped us solidify what we wanted and where we’d like it to be. We visited the Parade of Homes annually, and usually combined that event with viewing a list of our own selections with Lisa. We camped in our RV on some trips and stayed in hotels during others.

We’d have long conversations about houses and areas, cullying properties out of the lists of potentials. We’d send Lisa listings; she’d send some our way. When something seemed time sensitive, she’d go to the property and Facetime with us. Sometimes that saved us a trip and others it prompted us to make a mad dash for Idaho to see it in person. It got to the point where I could send Lisa a listing and say little more than, I’d like to know all the usual stuff. She knew exactly what we wanted to know.

COVID put a damper on the search, but not an end. As travel restrictions lifted and people started opening back up, we were back in business. Over that time period, we put in offers on four houses. We didn’t get any of them. When our spirits were low, Lisa’s were always high. We gave up so many times, but she continued to stand by us. I apologized often for taking up so much of her time, and for dragging her all over northern Idaho. I thought she’d drop us as clients more than once. She had nothing but encouragement for us, that and a healthy dose of empathy.

In January of this year, we spotted a house that looked right. We went to see it on the coldest weekend in decades. An arctic storm had the entire US in its grips. The temperature was 15 degrees below zero the morning we went to see the house. The ground was covered in snow. In all we looked at four houses that day, but we made the trip to see the house we would make an offer on and eventually purchase. I’m sure we would not be moving to Idaho without Lisa’s help, encouragement, and above all else her friendship. Maybe the best part of this journey is that we already have a friend in Idaho when we get there.

Bernie was absolutely incredible. We used her to purchase our home in Post Falls. We moved from out of state. The buyers from the house we were selling were the buyers from hell. They kept changing the agreement along the way and drug out the Escrow for an additional 32 days. She kept her sellers informed and helped us all get thru the ordeal. I think the whole deal would have came apart if not for her hard work to get it done.

My experience couldn't have been better.
I have bought and sold a half dozen houses and have never experienced such knowledge of the market, professionalism, and communication. Carrie is a very smart business person.
