Derrick is a born and bred native here in Houston, Texas. He’s an Alumni of Lonestar College and an avid follower of all things Houston-related. From the smallest taco truck to the largest high rise one can see downtown, Derrick’s eyes have gleaned everything Houston has to offer. 

In college, Derrick worked as a blogger for a science and technology website to make ends meet. This steady conviction coupled with a desire for a closer engagement with people led him to discover new endeavors in terms of people! 

Beginning much of his early career in youth sports videography, Derrick laid witness to dozens of locales and property styles in the greater Houston area. Whether he was planted in the swampy plains of Houstons southeast territory or cruising through the backwoods of Old Katy Town area, Derrick has always maintained a solid and keen eye for Houston locales. 

Over the years, Derrick has grown to truly appreciate finer Houston living and what it can really do for the city’s citizens.
