JUDY WAGNER
Growing up in Miami, attending PACE High School & Miami Dade, Judy moved to Charlotte to attend Dental Hygiene School, graduating with honors, earning an RDH license in both Florida & North Carolina. She married her "Boone Boy" in 1971 and moved to Boone when Blowing Rock Road was a two lane highway and not one chain restaurant existed.
Boone has since grown, and blossomed into a beautiful and charming town, offering green development, culture & the arts as well as extraordinary educational opportunities thru Appalachian State University (from which Allan’s grandfather graduated in 1910) along with Caldwell Community College and more..
Following her rewarding career as a Hygienist, & 20 proud years as a Community and School Volunteer, serving several terms on the Friends of Watauga Board, VP and President of the St. Joe’s Room-mothers Association, Judy joined her husband, Allan, in real estate.
A devoted mother and grandmom, Judy has tirelessly volunteered with Watauga County Schools and the civic community, earning Volunteer Parent of the Year several times. Judy has also owned and managed her own retail businesses and while working in retail, was honored as the top salesperson in her region. Judy loves research of all kinds, especially with regard to the real Estate Market and home sales. Genealogy is another one of those research projects as well, and thru that research Judy acquired her Dual Irish-American Citizenship.

Alan and Judy were a blessing to my family when my elderly mother was at the point that she could not live alone any longer in Banner Elk, NC. They supported me both emotionally and professionally throughout the entire process. Judy had the home listed
the day after moving all of her belongings to SC and had an offer within a week. The Wagners stayed in contact with me daily (sometimes multiple times) and handled everything so I could concentrate on my moms health and move to SC with me. You will not find

First of all they met with my wife and I on a Saturday morning and showed us about 6 properties. None of them seemed to be right for us. Judy suggested a new subdivision that was in the area we wanted. We selected a lot and then called back several days

As buyers in an amped up market fueled by Covid-19 campers, we had no idea what we were in for. Thankfully Judy and Allan were there for us.
From the beginning, Team Wagner made the buying experience easy. Their ability to schedule appointments quickly (we are talking anywhere between 15 minutes up to one day) was incredible. Having a lifetime of knowledge of the area was also helpful when suggesting alternative properties – they knew what we wanted, delivered solid comps and a brought a logical ability to provide pros & cons of certain locations or Allen’s experience as a former builder in regard to the condition of structures. We felt like we were talking with family.
When it came to finding quality inspectors, attorneys, surveyors, septic or repair contractors they had deep lists of providers for us to reach out to. Making our experience even easier, Judy and Allan made themselves available to the aforementioned service providers if we could not make the scheduled appointment. When our lender had issues with one of his contractors, we knew the seller’s realtor was kept in the loop and talked off a cliff several times. They salvaged a situation that many sellers could have walked away from.
Personally, we feel a connection Judy and Allan and look forward to being able to enjoy a meal on our deck when life becomes less contagious.
Speaking of contagious, we never saw Judy or Allan’s smiles or hands – yes they are respectful of everyone’s safety by choosing to wear a mask and gloves.

I can't say enough about Judy and Allan Wagner. Their company, Next home Mountain Realty, was recommended to us by a neighbor to help with the sale of our mother's summer residence in Boone, NC. We could not have found a more informed and helpful company
to work with. If we had questions on anything concerning the sale, they were there to answer them. They advised us as to what we needed to do to and had information available for us to select appraisers, inspectors etc. and knew the regulations needed for
Watauga County. Any questions we had were answered promptly, and they were available to talk with you any time you needed them.

Our home was on the market for such a short time I don't feel we got to personally know Judy as much as we would have liked. She came to our house for the listing and staged with recommendations that was very satisfactory. The greatest thing (other than
selling the house) was after each showing she would contact us with feedback from potential buyers. Once an agreement was reached Judy constantly kept us updated with every step in the process. Frankly, Judy made this as painless as possible and we couldn't
conceive of using anyone other than her and her husband. They were so kind and trustworthy and an example for all realtors to follow. We can say this because in our 44 years of marriage we moved and/or transferred 13 times and, this was the best ever.
