Located northwest of Minneapolis, NextHome West Metro serves clients throughout Wright and Sherburne Counties, including St. Michael, Monticello, Buffalo, Elk River, and Big Lake. The brokerage also provides knowledgeable service for parts of Hennepin and Anoka Counties, including Maple Grove, Plymouth, Rogers, Ramsey, and Anoka. NextHome West Metro offers expertise in all types of residential real estate, including new home construction, development, and residential resale.

Zach is a second-generation real estate professional who provides each client with friendly, honest, and tireless real estate representation. After a lifetime in the West Metro area of Minneapolis, Zach has built a robust knowledge of the area’s real estate opportunities.
Following a career in tech and regional marketing, Zach joined his father in 2001 at Wright-Sherburne Realty. His expertise in new construction and working with first-time homebuyers built a thriving referral-based business. In 2023, Zach officially became the office’s broker.
“What I value most is being the person families turn to again and again when they’re ready for their next move,” Zach said. “There’s nothing better than helping the same family—sometimes across generations—find the perfect place to call home.”
Zach is known in local real estate for his honesty and straightforward style. He prides himself on being upfront with clients, never wanting them to have any surprises.
“From the very first conversation, my clients know I’m in their corner,” Zach said. “I believe in being upfront, honest, and genuine—because real trust is built through authenticity, and that’s what guides everything I do in real estate.”
As Zach looked to the future of his business, he saw the industry changing. After more than two decades working through real estate’s highs and lows, Zach saw the wisdom in strengthening his office with exceptional support and forward-thinking training. That’s what led him to NextHome.

Outside of the office, Zach enjoys living in the West Metro. He has been married to his wife Lisa for 22 years, and they have two sons – Colin, 20, and Jack, 18. In his free time, Zach enjoys being outdoors golfing, biking, or spending time at the family’s lake house in Wisconsin.
