Pleasanton, CA — March 6, 2026 —  NextHome is proud to announce its newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Thrive Realty, located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has more than 600 active office locations across the country.

NextHome Thrive Realty serves clients throughout Myrtle Beach, Conway, Surfside Beach, Garden City, Murrells Inlet, North Myrtle Beach, Loris, and the remainder of Horry and Georgetown counties. Under the leadership of Broker/Owner Brian Geesaman, NextHome Thrive Realty offers decades of local expertise in investment properties, residential resale, property management, and all other types of residential real estate.

Brian’s nearly 30 years in the region and more than a decade in real estate have created a reputation for trust and community connection.

Real estate has been part of Brian’s life since childhood, when he helped his grandmother manage her portfolio of rental properties. That experience sparked an early appreciation for architecture, property design, and the value of real estate investment.

In 2012, Brian obtained his real estate license and began growing parallel careers as both a healthcare executive and real estate professional. Brian’s executive experience sharpened his talents for leadership and navigating complex regulatory situations. Meanwhile, real estate gave Brian the opportunity to deeply connect with people and share his wealth of local knowledge.

“Real estate is ultimately about relationships,” Brian said. “From my earliest days in customer service to today, I’ve built lasting connections with clients because I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and nurturing relationships. That ability to connect, to listen, and to care is at the heart of why I love real estate.”

Brian’s love for real estate led to the launch of his independent brokerage, BG Coastal Real Estate Company, LLC, in 2020. Over the next five years, he grew the firm into a multi-agent team serving residential buyers and sellers, investors, and property management clients throughout the region.

As his independent brokerage grew, Brian recognized that to support his agents and clients at the highest level, he needed more than talent and experience — he needed a platform built for scale, education, and modern real estate.

“I loved being independent,” Brian said. “But training, technology, marketing, and web presence are incredibly expensive and time-consuming to build on your own. As you bring in agents with different experience levels and needs, you need systems that can meet everyone where they are.”
