Pleasanton, CA — April 25, 2018 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Central Real Estate. The brokerage represents the fifth location opened in the state of Oklahoma for the NextHome franchise.

Based in Oklahoma City, the company will be owned and operated by business partners Bobby Gideon II and Jason Phillips. Their brokerage will provide real estate services such as single-family residential sales, first-time home buyers, investment, luxury, multi-family properties, and new home sales to the communities of Oklahoma City, Midwest City, Del City, Nichols Hills, The Village, Edmond, Choctaw, Moore, Yukon, Mustang, Harrah, Shawnee, Arcadia, Nicoma Park, and the remainder of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.

The Oklahoma City metro region is home to nearly 1.4 million residents.

Jason and Bobby have been friends since the second grade, so their business partnership has been an easy transition. After high school, Jason received his MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma, while Bobby attended the University of Oklahoma with a focus on Administrative Leadership.

After college, both men worked in commercial real estate building with local companies BNC Construction and Stooc Builders. In 2011, the partners went out on their own and started their own construction management company, The Phido Group.

Bobby was responsible for the daily operations of all projects. This included acquiring resources and coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure successful completion that is within budget and time constraints.

Jason handled all aspects of the financial management for The Phido Group. He was deeply involved with each project from conception to completion, working closely with owners and his team members in determining project feasibility, scheduling, and quality control. Jason also provided insight into current and future projects based on his in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry.

In mid-2017, Bobby and Jason looked to build their real estate sales portfolio and found NextHome to be a perfect partnership in furthering the technology and services their brokerage could offer clients.

“Since starting our brokerage as NextHome Central Real Estate at the beginning of 2018, we have been the busiest we have ever been,” said Jason. “The NextHome tools we can now offer our clients are unlike anything our community has ever seen.”

“We have to credit (NextHome’s VP of Sales) Charis Moreno for showing us what the franchise had to offer,” added Bobby. “When we went to California to meet the corporate team and complete training, everything Charis told us about the company was true – and then some. We are so happy to be a part of this incredible company.”

“NextHome’s ideals matched exactly what we were looking for at our brokerage,” said Bobby.

When not selling real estate, Bobby and Jason are all about family.

Jason has been married for five years to his wife Natalie. She’s the co-owner/hair stylist at Cut Loose Hair Design. The couple love food and trying new restaurants. Jason jokes that “their parents hound them daily to give them grandkids.”

Bobby married his college sweetheart, Emily, and they had their first child (Eleanor) 8 months ago. Emily has a Master’s Degree in Education and is a member of the leadership team at Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center. They enjoy the outdoors and look for any excuse to be outside.

Please join us in congratulating Jason, Bobby, and the rest of the team at NextHome Central Real Estate on the opening of their brand new NextHome office in Oklahoma City, OK!

Carolyn Little

Pleasanton, CA — March 28, 2018 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Simply Real Estate. The brokerage represents the fourth location opened in the state of Oklahoma for the NextHome franchise.

Based in Noble, the company will be owned and operated by second-generation REALTOR® and Broker, Carolyn Little.

The brokerage will provide real estate services such as single-family residential sales, first-time home buyers, investment, luxury, new construction, relocation, land, and commercial property services to the communities of Noble, Norman, Moore, Lexington, Slaughterville, Purcell, Goldsby, and the remainder of Cleveland, McClain, and Oklahoma counties.

Noble, located just on the outskirts of the city of Norman, is home to just under 7,000 residents. The city is the third largest in population in Cleveland County.

Born and raised in Norman, Little began her career in real estate directly out of high school. In 1979, she started with a local independent real estate brokerage, Abide Realty.

In 1982, she made the move to Better Homes and Gardens real estate, while simultaneously taking college courses at the University of Oklahoma. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the university.

In 1997, she made the move to open her own real estate brokerage after nearly 20 years working for other brokerages and building her successful business.

“I opened Carolyn Little Realty with the hopes of being transparent to my clients and providing a level of service where I was able to focus on my own methods of real estate sales,” said Little. “Whether it was unique marketing on listings, strong negotiation representation, or simply providing a first-class level of service, I wanted to have full ability to provide that to my clients.”

She built the business to be one of the largest and most productive offices in Southwest Cleveland County. Little attributes a portion of the brokerage’s success to the deep relationships she formed with the business communities in both Norman and Noble. Her father was one of the founding business owners who started the Noble Chamber of Commerce.

In 2017, Little met Kimberly Hutson, an Oklahoma broker owner of a NextHome franchise through their connection with the Oklahoma Board of REALTORS®. While Little had several opportunities to sell her brokerage, she enjoyed working with clients and helping agents be better.

Hutson was able to show her the benefits of what NextHome provided her company when she made the switch.

“After having a chance to speak with NextHome’s VP of Sales, Charis Moreno, and finding out more about the company, I loved the technology and the various services the franchise provides our agents,” said Little.

In addition to the real estate service Little provides to the community, she also gives back with many hours of volunteer work.

Over the past 20 years, she has served in various volunteer leadership roles for the Norman Board of REALTORS®. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Association.

Little also volunteers with the local Chamber of Commerce, where she has served as President twice. Committed to helping with her church, she is also involved in the local women’s ministry.

Little has been married to her husband Rodney for the past 28 years and the couple have two sons and two grandchildren. When not selling real estate, the Littles enjoy water activities such as fly fishing and sailing.

Please join us in congratulating Carolyn and the rest of the team at NextHome Simply Real Estate on the opening of their brand new NextHome office in Noble, OK!

After her successful military service career, Plake got her real estate license in 2014. In addition to having a strong interest in real estate, one of the main reasons she wanted to get into the industry was to help veterans find housing once they returned from service.

“After spending my entire adult life serving alongside brave men and women of the military, I wanted to do my part in helping veterans find their perfect home,” said Plake.

She started as a REALTOR® with a local independent brokerage in Stillwater. The broker encouraged education and Plake took it to heart.

In her first full year of real estate, she attained her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation and sold 19 homes in 2015.

In 2016, she sold 32 homes and through mid-August 2017, Plake has sold an incredible 37 homes.

She found the NextHome franchise through a simple Google search and instantly saw everything the company had to offer her soon-to-be-opened brokerage.

“When I saw NextHome and the level of support that I would not only receive from the franchise, but from fellow NextHome REALTORS® around the country, I knew this was the right brand to affiliate with,” said Plake. “The leadership team at NextHome sees what is lacking in our industry and with their consumer-centric focus, I feel confident that NextHome Heartland Realty will be the next successful brokerage in the area.”

When not selling real estate, Plake devotes time to both the community and spending time with her family.

She is a volunteer member of The Boot Campaign – a non-profit organization helping disabled Veterans. Plake wants to increase awareness of the needs of women Veterans returning from service.

Kimberly Hutson

Pleasanton, CA— August 1, 2017 NextHome is proud to announce our latest addition to the franchise, NextHome Prestige Realty. The brokerage will represent the first NextHome franchise location opened in the state of Oklahoma.

The company will be owned and operated by business real estate broker, Kimberly Hutson.

Based out of Norman, NextHome Prestige Realty will provide residential sales, investment property, luxury home sales, first time home buyers, military, land sales, horse properties, multi-family and relocation services to areas including Norman, Moore, Oklahoma City, Edmond, Piedmont, Guthrie, Newcastle, Tuttle, Blanchard, and surrounding rural communities.

Norman is home to nearly 120,000 residents and is known for Oklahoma University and the national college football powerhouse, The Oklahoma Sooners.

Before real estate, Kimberly worked as an Executive Secretary to a Bank President and left her job after 10 years to raise her family.

“After the kids were older, I was ready to get back into working full time,” said Kimberly. “We moved a couple times because of my husband’s work transfers and were able to come back to Norman.”

“The process of selling and searching for our homes during those moves is what made me want to get into real estate. I am very passionate about helping people and I want to make a difference in this industry,” she added.

Licensed since 2013, Kimberly is a member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of Realtors®, Norman Board of Realtors® and Builders Association of South Central OK (BASCO).

Kimberly spent her first year learning as much as possible about real estate. Her commitment to education shows through the time she dedicates towards improving her service for her clients. She has earned several National Association of REALTORS® designations/certifications including: Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyers Agent (ABR), Broker Price Opinion Resource (BPOR), and Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR).

With the commitment to education evident, Kimberly sold nearly $4 million in real estate volume in just her second year in real estate.

In 2016, she went on to get her broker’s license and joined eXp Realty as a branch broker. Her business continued to increase and she started a team.

Although she successfully led agents as the branch broker, changes in the company franchise structure in Oklahoma caused Kimberly to look in a different direction.

In 2017, she decided to start her own brokerage and was looking for the right company to affiliate with.

“A friend introduced me to NextHome because she knew I was looking for something new and different than what other brokerages offered here in Oklahoma,” recalls Kimberly.

“Opening a NextHome office in Oklahoma just made sense for my agents and myself,” said Kimberley. “NextHome was the perfect fit for what we wanted out of a franchise. I am proud of our great group of agents and excited to be working alongside them.”

“We are a group of tech savvy agents that love the tools and resources NextHome provides. We focus on team building, training and representing our clients with a personal experience we are proud of. NextHome gives us the tools and resources we need to streamline our processes, and operate effectively and efficiently for our clients’ needs,” said Kimberly.

“There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how we operate at NextHome Prestige Realty,” she adds.

With 13 agents at the brokerage, Kimberly takes pride in how involved the team at NextHome Prestige Realty is with the local community. When they are not in the office or helping our clients, you’ll find them out on the golf course sponsoring a hole for a charity tournament, working or serving in the local communities or helping the local boards.

“We love our communities and giving back is important to us,” said Kimberly.

The company has had an outstanding start. In the first 30 days, NextHome Prestige Realty has nine pending contracts, twelve active listings and four sold properties.

When not selling real estate, Kimberly and her husband of 25 years, Glen, enjoy spending time with their family and friends and traveling as much as possible. The couple has three children – Brooklyn (22), Bridgette (19) and Chad (13).

Please join us in welcoming Kimberly and the rest of her team at NextHome Prestige Realty to the NextHome family and congratulating them on their brand-new office location!
