He dealt with my millions of questions, without ever showing an ounce of annoyance and happily explained the entire process as we went through it. Having a small child, who had to tag along for most of the process, can be a bit difficult. As happy as I am to have closed on our house, it’s bittersweet because my family will miss working with him!

After our Uncle's passing, my Sister and I faced the task of taking care of the sale of his house and his lifetime of belongings from a distance away, under very emotional circumstances. Will was indispensable to our family when we had to sell my Uncle’s home after his passing. Living in NY and being such a distance away was not easy. We relocated from North Dakota to Winston-Salem without my knowledge of the area. Shep was amazing. He took time to show us the city and surrounding areas so we could really get a feel for areas we might want to live. He was very knowledgeable of the area and took time to answer all of our questions. When touring homes, he was great. He let us look and form thoughts before pointing out anything he noticed. It felt very relaxed, which was amazing since finding a home and moving cross country is a lot.

I am an out-of-state resident relocating to Mooresville with no knowledge of any real estate firms out there. I began a random search on realtor.com site and found Will Sheppard from NextHome.
We discussed online prior to my house-hunt visit on what sort of property I was looking for, unfortunately the type of home I was looking for (non HOA) was minimal.
Upon arrival we met had a few laughs and began visiting the properties. After 3 appointments and not finding what I want, Will found an old listing which didn't have any available schedule appointments so he called for me and made arrangements to see the property. 'Bingo' this is what or my type of home I really like.
We began to strategize our buying negotiations and all turned out good at the end of the day. Will did an excellent job getting the home, price, followup, putting up with me (joke), finding contractors for some jobs needed etc. I couldn't do without him and his NextHome team.

Will is phenomenal at what he does. The first time you meet him you'll see that he cares about what he does and is extremely knowledgeable. He is very responsive, supportive, non-pushy and just wanted to make sure WE were making the right choices when purchasing a home - and wanted to make sure we were happy with the house we chose, as he was more than willing to go visit any number of properties we were even slightly interested in. The scheduling of these properties was very easy, I would text him the house, date/time we wanted to see and he would get it arranged.

Once we identified the house we wanted to purchase, Will was able to recommend a Mortgage company (Lowest rates around, I shopped), a closing attorney and a home inspector. Will worked diligently with all of these vendors to make our lifting, almost non-existent.
