Garrick Olerud is a top-producing real estate broker, auctioneer, investor, and business owner serving Vernon County, La Crosse County, Monroe County, and the surrounding counties throughout the Driftless Area and Southwest Wisconsin. As the owner of NextHome Prime Real Estate and leader of The Olerud Team, Garrick specializes in residential homes, country homes, vacant land, recreational land, farmland, commercial real estate, business sales, investment properties, and real estate auctions.

Born and raised in Westby, Wisconsin, Garrick grew up on a dairy farm and has lived in the area most of his life. That local background gives him firsthand knowledge of the land, communities, and values that make this area unique. He earned his Marketing degree from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and has been a licensed real estate agent since 2014.

In 2019, Garrick founded NextHome Prime Real Estate with its first office in Westby. Since then, the company has continued to grow, adding offices in Hillsboro in 2021, Mesa, Arizona in 2022, and West Salem, allowing Garrick and his team to serve clients across a wider footprint while maintaining strong local roots. Garrick is licensed in Wisconsin, Arizona, and Minnesota.

As a licensed auctioneer, Garrick offers clients a unique advantage when selling property. He can help clients sell not only their home or land, but also personal property through auction when needed. His experience in both traditional real estate and auctions makes him especially well-suited for estate properties, farmland, recreational land, rural properties, commercial real estate, and business sales.

Because of that hands-on experience, he enjoys helping clients not only buy and sell real estate, but also understand how to build an investment portfolio, evaluate opportunities, and grow long-term wealth through real estate ownership. Whether someone is purchasing their first rental, expanding into multi-family property, or looking for commercial investment opportunities, Garrick brings real-world experience as both an agent and an owner.

He serves as President of the Workforce Development Board in the area, reflecting his commitment to supporting local employers, workforce growth, and long-term community success across the region.

He proudly serves buyers and sellers throughout Vernon County, La Crosse County, Monroe County, and surrounding communities, including the greater Driftless Area. Outside of real estate, Garrick enjoys spending time with his wife Kassi and their children Peyton, Piper, and Rexton. He enjoys golfing and spending time outdoors with his family. Garrick and Kassi also own The Daily Brew and Great American Pancake Company. He is active in the community, having previously served on the Vernon County Board, Westby Chamber, and Church Council, currently serves on the 7 Rivers Alliance and Snowflake Ski Club boards, and is also President of the regional Workforce Development Board.
