I’m a proud native of Post, Texas, where my early years were shaped on a cotton farm located between Post and Tahoka. Our weekly trips to Lubbock were not just for essentials but also for a bit of city life, including shopping, groceries, doctor visits, and entertainment. Following high school, I pursued my passion for learning at Tarleton State University, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Sciences.

For 12 years, I dedicated myself to teaching in the areas of Home Economics and Special Education in both the Hill Country and DFW areas. Those experiences as a teacher and Special Education Coordinator taught me more than I could have imagined — lessons in connecting with people, staying organized, paying attention to detail, and being an advocate for others.

After nearly three decades living away from Post, the tragic passing of my husband led me to make the decision to relocate with my daughter to Lubbock to be closer to family. Once here, I embraced the opportunity to pursue the real estate career that my husband and I had often discussed. In 2022, I started my real estate career with NextHome CORE Realty, and I am excited for the years of growth ahead. Tim and Janet have been incredible pillars of support, and I am grateful for their ongoing encouragement.
