Raised in upstate New York, Joel Alexander came to the great state of Maine in 1992 while stationed in Rockland with the United States Coast Guard. In 1996, Joel took the valuable traits and skills he gained through his years of service in the USCG and began his first real estate venture. A young entrepreneur, he owned and managed several apartment units. For over 5 years, Joel served as a manager at ServPro, a restoration company. Here, he developed many assets and skills that would benefit him in his real estate career. From inspecting commercial & residential buildings for damage to negotiating with insurance companies, Joel ensured proper repairs and mitigation. His hard work and commitment to his clients resulted in the highest levels of customer satisfaction. In 2012, Joel took his real estate business to the next level. He became a licensed REALTOR® and within a year launched a new company – Sentry Leasing & Management. With 20 years in the industry, Joel’s experience and commitment to client care is unsurpassed. A past member of the Gardiner town planning board & ordinance review committee and a current member of the Chelsea planning board, he is deeply involved in his community and devoted to its growth.
