Monty has been fantastic through the whole process! We knew what we were looking for, but were in no hurry to buy. Monty persevered and regularly sent us properties to consider. When we finally found the right one, he was like a pit bull advocating for our interests, navigating around costly challenges and guiding us through settlement. He kept us well informed and never hesitated to pick up the phone on our behalf. Monty earned our unqualified recommendation.

After working with two agents for almost eight months and still not finding
the right house, I met Monty during an open house in Chevy Chase. He helped
me to put an offer on that house. Even though I did not end up buying the
house, Monty made a very good first impression on me. As a result, I
continued to work with him in the house search. Seven weeks later and after
an intense search and making offers on five different houses, we found a
property in Chevy Chase, which we ended up buying.

There were two things that I would like to highlight. First, Monty was very
responsive and patient. Whenever I saw a house that would come on the
market I would call him and we would go see the property within a few hours
whether it was middle of a working day or the weekend. This was essential
given how competitive the real estate market has been in the area. Monty
was always honest and I never felt that he was pushing me to buy a house
just so that he could make his commission quickly. He understood what my
preferences were and he would give me objective feedback.

Monty was also very resourceful during the buying process. He referred me to
the best people, including a loan officer who gave me the mortgage with best
terms.

Monty has what it takes and I am confident that his hard work, patience and
honesty will take him a long way in the real estate business.

I can’t say enough nice things about Monty. He not only helped us find a true gem of a house but helped us navigate the purchase process, helped us with new homeowner projects, and helped us get our previous condo rented. Monty can do it all. Any real estate agent can setup an email alert for you with random properties based on some variables. Monty actually spends time getting to know you and what things are important. Then he helps find properties that truly meet your needs. We only viewed 4 houses before we found the right one. Through Monty’s superb negotiation skills we went under contract in 3 days and were ready to close in only a couple of weeks. Finally, I think what makes Monty a great agent, besides his local knowledge, responsiveness, process, and negotiation skills, is that he has an incredible team of contractors ready to help you turn any house into a home. Monty didn't just say goodbye at the closing table. He helped us and manage all the little projects we needed to do as homeowners (painting, chimney sweeps, ADT, utilities, etc). Monty not only has a “guy” for everything, but professional contractors, painters, landscapers, etc. We enjoyed working with him so much that we had him helped us rent our Condo in D.C. Again, Monty managed that process with incredible responsiveness and skill.

He managed to help me purchase a condominium at Grosvenor Park after my bid wasn’t accepted, because the first offer was rejected and the bank then lowered the price by $20,000.
