Pleasanton, CA — September 26, 2025 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest addition to the franchise, NextHome Roots Realty Group, located in Clinton, Michigan. The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has more than 600 active office locations across the country.
Located in a picturesque small town, NextHome Roots Realty Group serves clients throughout Lenawee, Washtenaw, Jackson, and Monroe counties.
NextHome Roots Realty Group is owned by Tammy Culler, a community-minded professional who centers every real estate transaction on what matters most–her client’s future.
“When you buy a house, you plant roots and bloom from there with family, friends, and community,” Tammy said. “It’s a privilege to help people achieve their home buying dreams, and it’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly.”
In addition to her passion for helping families find their perfect home, Tammy brings years of experience in local investment and resale properties. She is excited to expand her investment client portfolio.
Tammy’s real estate career began in 2017 after many years working in information technology. She was drawn to real estate because it combined her love of architecture and design with her desire to help others.
“I’m a people person,” Tammy said. “I wanted a career where I could make a real difference. Looking back, real estate was the perfect fit for me.”
After joining a regional brokerage, Tammy quickly earned a reputation for her compassionate approach and deep care for each client she serves. Recognizing a common challenge many families faced during estate transitions, Tammy launched her own estate sale business, Estate Gems, to offer even more support.
“We help clear out the home, host the sale of personal items, and then handle the sale of the house,” she explained. “I noticed the estate process was draining families—both financially and emotionally—and I wanted to ease that burden. My hope is to be a one-stop resource for clients during these difficult times.”
Her commitment to going above and beyond has earned Tammy numerous awards, but her proudest moments are when clients feel like they are her top priority.
“I hope what people can expect from me is a feeling that they are my only client, and a knowledge that someone has their back no matter what the transaction–residential, commercial investment, big, or small,” Tammy said. “I am always available for questions, even if I’m not the right fit to help you buy or sell. I am happy to help every way I can, before, during or after the transaction.”
As Tammy’s notoriety grew, she started to look for a franchise that could take her service to the next level.
“NextHome focuses on the personal connections we make in this business, and that really resonated with me,” Tammy said. “NextHome also gives me the tools and freedom to offer streamlined service to my clients and build a strong foundation to support other agents.”
Tammy is passionate about mentoring new real estate agents, and showing them what great service really looks like—from truly listening to clients, to connecting them with local resources, to making sure no detail is overlooked.
“I want to teach new agents the right way to care for people,” she said. “That includes connecting first-time buyers with trusted lenders, helping families navigate difficult transitions, and celebrating every win—big or small.”
Looking ahead, Tammy is excited about the future. She plans to continue growing her business, nurturing a team of compassionate agents, and eventually expanding into other states—all while staying rooted in service-centered values.
“At NextHome Roots Realty Group, we care deeply about people—not just the transaction,” Tammy said. “We want every client to feel seen, supported, and truly at ease.”
Family is at the heart of everything Tammy does. She and her husband have a large, blended family with seven children between them—three boys and four girls—and they love spending time together at their family’s lake cottage.
In her free time, Tammy stays involved in her local community, supporting youth athletic programs and outreach efforts.
