Pleasanton, CA — October 27, 2022 — NextHome is proud to announce the expansion of NextHome On Main with a new office located in Midlothian, Texas. The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has 608 active office locations across the country. NextHome On Main (Midlothian) builds on the success of NextHome On Main’s original office in Mansfield, Texas, which opened in 2021.

NextHome On Main (Midlothian) is owned by a powerhouse team of family-focused professionals. The ownership team includes Kim and Shawn Pratt, alongside Haleigh Bush Kurth and Colton Kurth. As broker/owner, Haleigh will run the brokerage’s day-to-day operations. Colton will focus on client service and sales.

High-performing associates joining the brokerage include Dayna Henderson, Kaitlin Bush, Crystal Ashley, and Kyle Kukemeister. NextHome On Main is already home to two dynamic teams: Better Together Realty Group and Lifetime Realty Group.

“We have been living in this community our whole lives,” Haleigh said. “We were all born and raised in Ellis County, most of us graduated from Midlothian High School, and we each have years of experience in this market. With this wealth of generational knowledge, NextHome On Main (Midlothian) can offer clients perspectives they can’t get anywhere else. We are excited to open a brokerage in our hometown and serve the community we all grew up in.”

Located just 30 minutes south of Dallas/Fort Worth, NextHome On Main (Midlothian) serves clients throughout Midlothian, Mansfield, Waxahachie, and the remainder of Dallas, Tarrant, and Ellis counties.

“Shawn and I are thrilled to partner with Haleigh and Colton to start this branch,” Kim said. “By joining forces, we are combining two really dynamic duos to create a brokerage that will be simply unparalleled in our region.”

Kim obtained her real estate license in 2009 and quickly became one of the most successful agents in her area. Working with Century 21 Judge Fite, Kim built a thriving team of nine licensed REALTORS®, including six buyer specialists and two licensed admins. Throughout her career, Kim and her team have sold over 700 homes, and in 2020 alone they closed 100 transactions. In addition to all this, Kim is dedicated to coaching. She seeks consistent growth through her own personal coaching but also coaches five team leaders as they evolve in the real estate industry. Shawn has held his real estate license since 2013.

A second-generation REALTOR®, Haleigh has been a licensed real estate associate for more than 10 years. She launched her career the day after college graduation as an assistant for a local high-producing associate. Her organizational skills and unique drive soon propelled Haleigh into an administrative role for the brokerage. She became uniquely skilled at onboarding, training, and associate management.

Haleigh soon began working at the Mansfield office for Century 21 Judge Fite, which is where she met Kim. While there, Haleigh wrote the training manual for the entire company’s administrative staff and helped create various training materials. Eventually, she moved into a career advancement position where she on-boarded agents for 27 offices, and helped facilitate a merger with another brokerage.

“I really loved what I did, and I was good at it,” Haleigh said. “However, I hit a ceiling with my salary and decided at that point to focus my skills on selling real estate. It was exactly the right decision. Within the first eight months, I doubled my income from the previous year. My dedication to high-quality client service helped me to achieve new professional heights.”

Eventually, Haleigh built her own team, and her success continued to grow. Colton joined Haleigh as a full-time real estate associate after a career in clinical psychology.

In 2022, Haleigh and Kim and their supportive partners knew it was time to launch a NextHome office in Midlothian.

“Ultimately I wanted to build a community and company and business that fit us better,” Haleigh said. “Kim and I gravitated towards each other throughout our careers and we shared foundation values. As partners, we knew we could create something based on the values we care about deeply, especially professional client care.”

As they work to serve their hometowns, the NextHome On Main (Midlothian) ownership team has created several community service initiatives.

Haleigh is the vice president of REALTORS® Unlimited, a non-profit that raises money to furnish Habitat For Humanity homes. At its first event, the organization raised more than $6,o0o and brought together more than 200 real estate professionals.

Haleigh and Colton have been married since 2018 and are the proud parents of two-year-old Kinleigh.

Kim is the founder of the non-profit, Flipping Blessings and Shawn sits on the organization’s Board of Directors. Flipping Blessings focuses on providing support to the local community and the less fortunate with food, repairs, education, scholarships, and assisting other charities from donated funds. The Pratt family also has a long history of working at area food banks and donating to the Easter Seals.

Shawn and Kim have been married for 28 years and they are proud parents of a 21-year-old son who is part of their real estate team.

Please join us in congratulating the entire NextHome On Main team on the opening of their new office in Midlothian, Texas!
