I met Wendy Farmer over the internet awhile before I purchased a property as I was looking for a local estate agent at the time. I had called a few people but Wendy was very responsive and friendly over the phone as she listened to all my wishes for a property and the timeline was still up in the air. She set me up to receive property listings in the Triad area and we went from there. I mostly dealt with Wendy as it was easier for me to talk with one person out of a partnership. In the end, I even went so far as to our an offer in and it was accepted in a perfect property physically not having seen it myself. Very impressed! I was too busy to research every nook and crannie of the loan agreement, sales offer, or house inspection. He did his homework, seemingly a few times a day! So, even though I tried to stay on top of things, it was just too much, and I really appreciated having Tom on my side. He impressed me over an over, pulling out tools when he needed to check something, or catching a paperwork error before it became a problem.

This the third time that I have worked with Doug and Adriane to either buy or sell a home. Each experience that I have had with them has been great! Even in this crazy market that we are experiencing, Doug and Adriane worked aggressively with me to see the homes I was interested in, get the offer in (like 30 minutes later), send the docs for me to sign, and waited patiently with me for us to hear back. Tom Houy is an absolutely fantastic realtor! Being First Time Home buyers, along with purchasing a home from out of State we were very concerned about the reality of finding a home that we loved but having Tom as our realtor made the process extremely smooth and we are now in a house we truly love! My Wife and I had the opportunity to connect with Tom while we were visiting Greensboro in October to check out the area for our upcoming move we had in December. I was initially referred to another realtor. When I advised my colleague that I had met with that realtor, she said "Oh no, I found someone better." She gave me Tom's information and we met shortly after I contacted him. As per Tom's advice, I needed to fix/update some things in my home in preparation of placing it on the market. As repairs/updates were being made, Tom remained in contact with me to make sure things were going as planned. I had not yet signed anything official with him; however, that did not stop him from checking on me. Mind you, the initial realtor I met with, never contacted me after our initial meeting.
