Amy ended up being a large part of our lives last couple of years. We lost our 48-year-old brother to cancer very suddenly. He had a great little lake home that was pretty specific. Not really big, off the water just a bit, but an absolutely fantastic property. She worked hard to help us figure out what we should do as far as improvements and such. In this time, my parents also had some health issues and it became evident we needed to sell their home as well and it was just a few miles away from my brothers. We didn't even have to list my parents home as there was interest in it right away. But we still leaned on Amy to walk us through the process and help us with the closing because none of us were going to attend. It was all done long distance. It could not have gone more smoothly.

Amy was fun, seemed to understand our goofy family as well as the emotional couple of years we had. These were not easy times for our family. Selling these homes was far more than just closing on properties; they were an end to our family living in our hometown since my parents were born, all within a 4 mile radius of where my folks were born until we sold the properties. It was an end to 82 years of the Beehler and Hobbs families living there. That is a huge milestone and she helped us properly close the book on that. It was an emotional time of losing our brother, losing my dad, selling the family home, moving my mom somewhere closer to my sister and finally closing the chapter on my brothers awesome lake home. And our family no longer having our home base be in our hometown. That is big stuff and Amy was there for us.

Our mother passed away right after Easter and we contacted Amy. Her office is very close to where my sister lives, and within 5 miles of my mother's house. She was very helpful with providing a quick appraisal, including the effect of a couple of changes we were contemplating before putting the house on the market. She was quite sure that she could sell the property within a few weeks, if we could have it on the market before the end of April.
We made the changes, hired a cleaning person to clean the carpets and wash the windows, and Amy listed it the last Friday in April. She had 3 showings the next day, which produced 2 offers over the list price. We closed on the sale on yesterday, which was about 6 weeks from the listing date.
Amy is extremely professional yet very personable, and definitely is expert in her market. Although I was a bit skeptical of her optimism, every thing that she said happened exactly as she said it would.
