I have worked with Teri in the past when she sold my home in 2012. I relocated out of state for a couple years and moved back this year. I immediately reached out to Teri and of course, she picked up the phone and knew who I was. I didn?t have to explain our history of 4 years ago. I told her what I was looking for and explained that I had a short timeline to find my home. She directed me to a great lender and I had my preapproval in hand within 24 hours. She explained to me in detail how the market had rebounded and houses were going quickly. She couldn?t have been more right. She was determined to get my offer accepted. Not only did my offer get accepted, we got it for less than asking price which is almost unheard of right now! She knows the market well and always provides very candid advice. With the help of the lender she recommended we were ready to close in only 2 ? weeks. The closing went very smoothly and I was able to move in just 3 weeks from when I began my home search. Purchasing a home is no small feat these days and Teri is a true professional who will work hard for you so that you make a well informed decision. I was desperate for someone to help me sell my mother's condo. She needed money to live on and this was her only option. We live in Illinois and knew there would be no way we could do this project from so far away without help. As we were planning our trip to get the condo ready to sell, I gave Teri a call after seeing her reviews. I explained our situation and let her know the poor condition of the condo being that it had sent empty for years with no upgrades. Knowing how the real estate agents work in Illinois, I fully expected her to hang up and block my number. However, as we talked she immediately put me at ease and I knew she was the perfect one for the job. She set up a meeting with us at the condo right away and I could feel the tension just melt away as she asked us questions and assured my mom that she was doing the right thing and that she could get us a fair offer. Since we were only planning on staying a few days, Teri was able to get our contract ready that same day, and had people lined up to do various projects to get the condo ready to put it on the market. So May 25th, 2014 Teri listed our old home for us and again guided us on a correct market value to sell.? Well on May 26th we had 7 offers.? On May 27th they all upped their price and we sold our old home for more than we were asking.? Again, Teri saved our lives!? Yes, we closed within a month!? Never had overlapping mortgage payments at all!?? Teri was once again there for us through our whole process of selling this time and guided us through every step.
