Pleasanton, CA — September 24, 2026 — NextHome is proud to announce the addition of NextHome Pacific Estates, a group of three office locations serving communities throughout Orange County. The brokerage joins a series of additions as NextHome’s strategic large office model gains momentum.
Under the empowering leadership of owner Colleen Rogers, NextHome Pacific Estates partners with nearly 200 area agents across offices in Yorba Linda, Orange, and Anaheim, California.
This established brokerage offers vast expertise in all types of commercial and residential real estate.
“Serving the communities of North and Central Orange County and beyond, NextHome Pacific Estates represents a diverse and thriving real estate market, spanning luxury hillside communities, established suburban neighborhoods, vibrant downtown districts, and emerging opportunities,” Colleen said. “From Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills to Fullerton, Brea, Placentia, Orange, and Anaheim, North and Central Orange County offers a lifestyle for every stage of life in a real estate market as dynamic as the people who call it home.”
NextHome Pacific Estates thrives on a connected leadership team that includes Mark Burkhardt, Managing Partner; Erik Messinger, Broker of Record; Nicole Brown, Director of Operations; Jazmine Weatrowski, Office and Accounting Manager – Yorba Linda; Kari Crespin, Marketing Support Specialist; Marci Rehak, Guest Services Specialist and Compliance Coordinator; and Gail Swindler, who serves as Colleen’s personal and office executive assistant.
“Setting everything up with NextHome has been a lot of fun,” Colleen said. “I feel like there’s a renewed energy among our agents. People are excited for new tools and technology, and everyone’s been showing up for our trainings. My team is showing up for classes again.”
Colleen has been building a reputation for leadership and brokerage growth in Southern California for more than 22 years.
While still in high school, Colleen worked nights and weekends at a real estate office. As a college student, she became adept at property management.
After college, Colleen rose through almost every tier of Keller Williams leadership. Starting as a Market Center Administrator, Colleen moved into office leadership, regional leadership, and eventually roles at the franchise’s headquarters.
Regardless of her role, Colleen took advantage of every learning opportunity offered to her. The result was a nuanced understanding of real estate economics, agent behavior, franchise operations, and what agents actually need to thrive versus what franchise systems sometimes impose on them.
Starting in 2011, Colleen opened her own series of real estate offices. Through a connected leadership style, Colleen achieved the remarkable balance of both attracting partner agents and retaining that talent for the long term. Her first staff employee hire is still on the leadership team. Some associates have been with her for 15 years, and many other team members are approaching the decade benchmark. In an industry defined by churn, Colleen built a connected company.
Today, Colleen has built a large regional powerhouse with partner agents who can meet any buyer or seller’s needs.
In her continued efforts to grow her people and their market share, Colleen recognized increasing barriers to growth. Some of these included territorial restrictions, something that NextHome has skillfully resolved.
“With a legacy franchise, you are expected to have all these hires all the time, but that model tends to ignore the agent and what they need to increase their production and meet their goals,” Colleen explained. “NextHome gave me the opportunity to get back to what matters most: understanding what agents need and making sure they feel supported and valued, rather than simply focusing on bringing in more agents.”
“As the industry evolves, many large brokerage owners are asking themselves whether the systems around them are actually helping the business move faster and operate more profitably,” said Keith Robinson, President of Strategy for NextHome. “We built this model specifically for operators who want to simplify some of that complexity without sacrificing their culture, independence, or growth.”
With NextHome, Colleen recognized immediate alignment. NextHome made it easier for her to preserve a culture and growth model she had previously fought to protect.
“It was important to me to make sure this company was in alignment with my morals, my ethics, my integrity, and with my vision for the future,” Colleen said. “Having more flexibility and less micromanagement has been really important to me. I think that’s why people keep saying, ‘You look so relaxed.’ I’m not worried about jumping on another call or being micromanaged. I can actually focus on the business and the people I’m here to support.”
Colleen points to NextHome’s Member Services team for her renewed ability to focus on resilient growth.
“When we first joined and learned about Member Services, it felt like I had joined a country club,” Colleen said with a smile. “My agents have never had such responsive support. With NextHome’s Member Services, they can call and get quick answers to anything they need. Those are things that I’m excited to bring to agents so that they can have an easier business to run, spend less time on tasks, and more time building relationships with clients.”
“NextHome empowers me to be with my people again—to really hear what they need and show them how we can already provide it, or figure out what we need to do to be able to provide it,” Colleen added. “I am excited for the future again.”
Today, NextHome Pacific Estates is promoting a new tagline: Same ownership, same great REALTORS® and staff from the past 15 years, just with a fresh new brand – Humans Over Houses.
Outside of real estate, Colleen gives back to her community through dedicated nonprofit and civic leadership. Since 2018, she has served on the board of the Priority Center (formerly the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center), chairing the nonprofit’s annual galas and serving a full 24-month term as board chair. She has woven her office family into that mission, with staff and agents volunteering at events, securing auction items, and attending galas alongside their families. She has also served on the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce board.
When she does find time to decompress, Colleen enjoys crafting, scrapbooking, and painting. She hosts paint-and-sip nights with her office team, building connections with agents whom she considers family. A lifelong sports lover, Colleen played basketball growing up and still enjoys watching live sports. Above all, Colleen treasures time with her close-knit circle of friends.
Please join us in congratulating Colleen and the entire team at NextHome Pacific Estates on the opening of their new offices!
