The brokerage builds on the success of NextHome Luxe Coastal’s original office in St. Petersburg. The Bonita Springs expansion provides guidance for all types of residential real estate, including luxury, waterfront, investment, second homes, relocation, and more.
This newest brokerage serves clients throughout Naples, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Sanibel, and the remainder of the Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The new office will be located at the prominent intersection of Bonita Beach Road and U.S. 41.
NextHome Luxe Coastal (Bonita Springs) is launching with a strong track record of industry expertise, agent coaching and development, and client-centered real estate experiences.
“I want people to know that they can and will be better for partnering with us,” said Agent/Owner Jon McLeod.
In partnership with the St. Petersburg office, NextHome Luxe Coastal offers a multi-disciplinary approach to real estate, leveraging the skills of its attorney ownership group, who are also mediators, litigators, CPAs, and title agents. When Jon joined the ownership group, he added his real estate coaching experience, business development, and transactional expertise to the team dynamic.

The NextHome Luxe Coastal ownership group includes Peter Vastis, Kevin Sullivan, Richard Dauval, Mike Boyle, and Jon McLeod, with Ian Leavengood as broker.
First licensed in 1991, Jon has spent much of his real estate career working in the Naples and Marco Island markets, where he represented buyers and sellers in luxury and waterfront real estate.
In addition to real estate sales, Jon’s experience includes financial planning with Morgan Stanley, managing retail stores, selling advertising for the Naples Daily News, and working as a professional boat captain, moving privately owned yachts from Naples through the Bahamas and Virgin Islands and as far as St. Lucia.
Jon’s career experiences reinforced a passion for helping others achieve their highest potential.
In 2018, Jon became a productivity coach for a large national franchise, working with about 60 agents. He later became a mastery coach and team leader, where he helped lead a regional office through a significant period of growth.
During his two years as team leader, the office grew from 80 to 125 agents and achieved regional recognition. The experience strengthened Jon’s expertise in leadership, agent development, systems, and the operational strategies required to build a thriving real estate business. Jon has also completed extensive training across a wide range of residential real estate, giving him a broad understanding of the business from both the agent and leadership perspectives.
After leaving that leadership position, Jon joined a local brokerage in Southwest Florida while considering his next professional step. His talents creating listing systems ultimately caught the attention of NextHome Luxe Coastal’s ownership group, and became a key reason they recruited him to join their organization.
“The culture not only at the NextHome Luxe Coastal offices, but all the way up to the CEO was amazing,” Jon said. “What impressed me most of all was when I went to the NextHome convention in Dallas and talked with people. This company understands strategy, personal connection, and the industry.”
As a NextHome franchise owner, Jon is looking forward to building an office that prioritizes quality agent service.

Today, Jon is focused on building a lean, high-performing brokerage made up of agents who are committed to getting better. His goal is to provide the systems, training, coaching, and support that help motivated agents grow their businesses and deliver exceptional service to their clients.
Jon has been married to his wife Linea for 11 years. When the couple gets a moment away from professional pursuits, they enjoy spending time on Gulf Coast beaches.
Jon is the proud father of four children, including 29-year-old twins Lauren and Alex, 21-year-old Mia, and 17-year-old Niko. He is also a grandfather to his four-year-old grandson. His family keeps life busy, with Mia preparing to graduate from the University of Kentucky and Niko balancing high school with his passion for hockey.
