Valerie Morris
For many homeowners, selling a home isn’t just a transaction—it’s the closing of an important chapter. Valerie Morris understands this deeply and brings a steady, thoughtful approach to every client she serves.
A Richmond resident for nearly 20 years, Valerie has developed a deep appreciation for the city’s architecture, neighborhoods, and unique character. Her passion for historic homes first began as an investor, renovating and restoring properties—including a pre-1900 home in Church Hill. That experience gave her a trained eye for what others might overlook and a deep respect for the craftsmanship and stories behind Richmond’s older homes.
Before entering real estate, Valerie spent many years in customer service and print manufacturing, experiences that shaped the attentive, collaborative style her clients value today. Known for being highly accessible and responsive, she works closely with each client to ensure they feel informed, confident, and supported throughout the process.
Valerie specializes in helping long-time homeowners navigate major transitions—whether downsizing after many years in a beloved home or relocating to the Richmond area for a new opportunity or a change of pace. Her goal is always the same: to bring calm and clarity to what can otherwise be a stressful process while achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.
Having lived in the Near West End, Powhatan, and now Goochland, Valerie offers valuable insight into many of the region’s communities. She particularly enjoys helping new residents discover Richmond’s neighborhoods and fall in love with the city’s charm.
When she’s not working with clients, Valerie enjoys fiber crafts including knitting, spinning, and weaving. She and her husband share their home with two dogs, two horses, and three ducks, and she’s always happy exploring Richmond’s neighborhoods in search of the next hidden gem.
