For over 25 years, Susie Verrill has helped buyers and sellers navigate the Charlotte metro real estate market with the kind of local expertise that only comes from a lifetime in the community. Active in real estate since 2001, Susie has built her career across Union, Mecklenburg, Gaston, York, Lancaster, and Cabarrus counties – guiding clients through every kind of market, from first-time home purchases to complex new construction transactions and luxury sales.

Raised in Union County, Susie has watched the area’s school districts, neighborhoods, and communities grow and change over decades – knowledge she puts directly to work for her clients. She specializes in Matthews, Stallings, Indian Trail, Monroe, and Fort Mill, and is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, giving clients on either side of the state line a single trusted resource.
A graduate of Wake Forest University (BS) and the University of South Carolina (MS), Susie brings the same analytical rigor and genuine care she once applied as an exercise physiologist working with cardiac and cancer patients – helping people through major life transitions with patience, clarity, and honest advice.
Outside of real estate, Susie is deeply involved in her community: volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, serving in the Youth and Music Ministries at Matthews United Methodist Church, served on school PTO and band booster boards, and is currently on the board for COSKids. She’s married to Dave, and together they have three grown children. When she’s not helping clients find their next home, she’s hiking in the NC mountains, painting, reading, or enjoying a family game night.

As our buyers agent, Susie put in two offers for us. On the first, we never came to a meeting of the minds with the seller. Susie gave sage advice and didn't pressure us to give in. On the second offer, we had seen the house at an open house and told Susie we were interested. She wanted to give us good advice about the property, so she went there on her own, took photos, and helped us to determine a fair price and to land an accepted offer. Throughout the process, she got everything we asked for. She linked us to fairly prices and keen inspectors. When our lender was slow, she prodded them so we would close on time. When we were going to be shorted funds at closing, she fought for us to receive these funds and we got them. When the signing at closing took longer than expected, she didn't rush. She wanted us to have everything we wanted and deserved.

As usual, Susie when the extra mile with us. When we arrived in Charlotte 10 years ago, Susie was a recommend. Having been a former Realtor myself, I knew the things I wanted MY Realtor to do and Susie hit every one of those markers. We visited a few homes
and quickly decided on a new construction home in NoDa (North Davidson) that met all of our must haves and many of our wants. Flash forward to 2025: my MIL now required constant live in help so we needed to sell our home in NoDa and purchase a new one for
extra space. I called my go to Realtor Susie and she jumped on both ends of the transaction (seller side in NoDa and buyers side for our new construction home in Huntersville). We sold very quickly considering the market conditions and our purchase was handed
without a fail.

Susie always listened to our needs and wants, even when we changed our mind multiple times over one showing. Susie was a great voice to remind us what was realistic without compromising too much. She is awesome!
I can't say enough positive things about Susie and working with her to find my perfect, NC home. To be closer to family, I sold my townhome in Atlanta, GA and needed to relocate to NC rather quickly. So, not only was I moving, but I was moving to a different
