Having lived in the Midlands all my life, I am so excited to serve as a resource to my friends and neighbors for their real estate needs. I was born and raised in Sumter to a hardworking mother, and grandparents who always made sure I had what I needed. Tight-knit family is so important to me, and I credit my less-than-traditional background for ingraining that sense of loyalty and family into me.

From a very young age I understood that an appetite for learning is what leads most to success, and that is the driving principle that kept me on the forefront of opportunity since my first job scooping ice cream and mopping floors. That drive, paired with an eagerness to serve, led me to be a funeral director. Between starting my first apprenticeship and becoming a fully licensed professional, I’ve had the privilege of guiding hundreds of grieving families through their most difficult journeys. I quickly learned how to be emotionally intelligent, strong for my clients, how to communicate clearly and set expectations, and how to compassionately be all things to all people. I find true joy and passion in meeting people where they are and becoming their fiercest advocate.

My path wasn’t always exactly clear. Like most 18-year-olds, I couldn’t say with certainty what I wanted to do in life. I just knew I wanted to be in business, so I attended USC-Columbia. In that time since enrolling in 2013, I received a world class business education, graduating with degrees in Global Supply Chain & Operations Management, and Marketing. In the sales world I’ve sold portable storage buildings, retail furniture, and consumer packaged goods to the world’s largest grocery retailers. These roles all taught me skills that will translate to success for my clients, like tactful negotiating, overcoming adversity in professional relationships, time management, quick thinking, multi-layer problem solving, and, perhaps most importantly, active listening. My real estate clients can rest easy knowing that I will be so intentional every step of the way, working to choreograph their experience to culminate with a deal that will be a blessing in their lives for years to come.

I do enjoy good old fashioned hard work, and it’s also very important to have play time in the mix! Aside from work, you can expect to find me on the water, in the tree stand, or, depending on the time of year, most likely twirling my Cocky Cloth to Sandstorm in the nosebleeds! My most favorite pastime of all, though, is holding my newborn baby girl, Norma Kate, and being a loving husband to my wife, Rachel!
