As the Broker/Owner of the office, Melissa believes in always putting the client’s needs first; listening to their needs, helping manage their goals, and utilizing her experience and knowledge to help tailor the best path for each individual client. 

Melissa began her career in real estate in 2011 and currently holds both her Broker’s license and the GRI designation. Her previous career in advertising provides her clients with a unique skillset that not all Realtors possess. This additional area of expertise offers her clients access to successful and creative marketing for their properties.

Melissa and her husband are also the owner-proprietors of The Keep Restaurant, The Highlands Golf Club, and their most recent endeavor, 1889, a classic steakhouse in downtown Missoula.  As a local business owner, Melissa is deeply invested in the Missoula community and creating lasting relationships with her real estate clientele.

She is also continually active in the Missoula Organization of REALTORS®.  Melissa served on the board of MOR from 2014 through 2019, was elected board president in 2018, and awarded REALTOR® of the Year in 2019.  She has also held positions as a director on the board of the state association, the Montana Association of Realtors.  She most recently served as the Chair of the Professional Standards committee for the Missoula Organization of Realtors.  And in 2025 was asked to serve again on the Board of Directors. 

Involvement in her community is a priority. Melissa currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Humane Society of Western Montana. Melissa and her staff, both at the real estate office and the restaurants, regularly volunteer and donate time and funds to local charities, including the Missoula Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, and Watson Children’s Shelter.

During her downtime, you will find her enjoying the slopes of the numerous ski hills throughout the state, rafting one of our many rivers with her husband and two children, out walking or hiking with her beloved dog, or finding a quiet moment to enjoy a good book.
