When my family and I had plans to move out of the area, we had a very long and specific timeline to work with. Not only did we need to sell our house but we needed to find one that would fit our families needs, specific on location and it needed to work with the timeline that we had set. Working with Kim was our first time working with a realtor at the age of 70. We’ve sold all of our homes ourselves. From our initial meeting to walking out the door Kim far exceeded exceptions. Of course everything went wrong on our last day in the house. Due to circumstances beyond our control we weren’t able to clean the house to our expectations. Kim actually kicked off her heels and helped mop and clean. During closing she made sure we qualified for a homestead exception tax that was expiring on the day of our closing. Kim quickly filed the homestead tax application online for us during our closing. Kim was my agent on the purchase of a new build. She was there for me from beginning to end. Whether it was choosing the different selections for the house prior to the build all the way to closing. Every step of the way she was there to ensure everything was going smoothly during the entire build and all the contract work. Kim exceeded all of our expectations! As first time home buyers we had very little knowledge of the process or even what we actually wanted in a home. Because of this, we ended up backing out of the first couple homes we got accepted offers on. Yikes. I know, but Kim was EXTREMELY understanding through it all. Any review for Kim will not be able to properly convey just how helpful and knowledgeable she really is. She just helped me buy my first home and made it incredibly easy even though I lived out of state. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and showed me a number of great places. She has the eye of a builder when showing homes and is able to point out where things have been done well or where updates have been done poorly, as well as being able to spot things that could be an issue in the future, which was incredibly important since we were doing all of the showings via FaceTime. As an experienced investor I work with different agents all the time. It's more common to have a lackluster experience and to be frustrated by an agent's performance. Getting an offer accepted in this market is tough, especially when you're an FHA buyer in a sea of competitive cash bidders. We began our home buying journey in April with a different company (not going to name names, but they're one of the big guys). Our realtor at the time was getting us nowhere, as they didn't have the time to show us houses or write up offers in a consistent and timely manner. After two months of working with this realtor, we were worse off than we were before we began this process. We felt desperate, and needed a change for the better.
