Although I am generally reluctant to leave reviews as I believe professionals shouldn't ask for a "gold star" for doing their job I'm making my first exception for Pam. Never have I worked with anyone that was more prompt at returning calls, emails and texts. Pam and her husband Steve were at every inspection looking out for my best interest. They were there when the septic was replaced. Pam recommended a roof specialist after I had some concerns with that and they were also prompt, knowledgeable and fairly priced. After the close Pam and Steve came with a large trailer to take away a load of old unusable furniture I agreed to dispose of as part of the sale. Never in my past home purchases did I ever hear a peep from my agent after the commission check was cashed but Pam broke that streak as well. My plan is to never buy another home but if I do I wouldn't even think of calling anyone else.

We had an incredible experience working with Pam to find our dream location. Often times in these situations you worry (or at least I do) that you aren't the client buying the 500k dollar home and that you may not be the priority, but that was never ever the case. Pam was so quick to respond to any questions and to schedule as many walk throughs as I could find. I was constantly changing my mind and even making myself crazy. Every time she'd reassure me, "that's ok, on to the next one". I never felt like a burden. When we finally found the property for us she handled EVERYTHING and we truly felt like she was there for US. I genuinely could NOT have asked for a better experience. My husband and I went into this process with two things: 1) More questions than answers and 2) A really strong vision for what “forever” looked like for us in a home. Otherwise, the real estate process was foreign and intimidating. From our first showing though, when Pam declared with an earnest “Nicki can’t live here!” to a pretty but rough old farm house we asked to see, we knew she had our backs.

As a realtor, Pam is a highly effective communicator, an absolute gladiator for her clients, and a total cheerleader when things get dicey. Her expertise is immense. Right from the start Pam impressed me as a compassionate and dedicated realtor. It was a great 3 months working together. I found the right place fairly quickly, however, there were other buyers making offers. Pam was steady, aggressive and put me in the best position with the sellers agent. We were introduced to great finance people and the whole deal went off without a hitch. This was despite the government shut down!

I contacted Pam before we knew we were moving to Maine. Maine was one of several states we were considering. Most realtors I contacted in various states said "call me when you decide." Not Pam! We researched homes on our own in various parts of the State and if I had any questions, Pam would send me additional information. We finally decided we were moving to Maine but we still had no idea where my wife would obtain employment and we continued our research. By the time my wife accepted a job offer, we had a good idea of what we wanted. She showed us several homes we chose and helped us with home inspections, radon tests and we greatly appreciated her advice. After we determined one house needed extensive repairs and mitigation, she helped us purchase what was ultimately the right one. Due to our research and Pam's patience and assistance with my inquiries over the years, we only had to look at four or five homes on one day!
