I came to Greensboro without any intention of moving here in September of 2025. After spending a few weekends here, I realized that I loved it and wanted to move here sometime in 2026. I thought I’d spend a weekend in October going to a few open houses to see what the market looked like and get a feel for the area. That weekend changed everything.

The first open house I walked into was hosted by Kristina, and I ended up being the only person there for almost the entire time. We talked for nearly 90 minutes and instantly clicked. In that short time we somehow covered everything. It felt like talking to someone I had known for years, not someone I had just met.

Over the next three weeks, I drove up on weekends and Kristina showed me what must have been close to 20 houses. She was incredible the entire time—always organized, always on top of scheduling, and constantly keeping me updated. We laughed until we cried in some of those houses and joked that I had somehow managed to pick some of the weirdest homes in all of Greensboro to tour.

There was one house we visited three times, and I was finally ready to put in an offer when it sold the very same day I planned to submit it. Kristina never missed a beat and kept things moving.

Then one night, close to midnight, a house popped up on Zillow. I remember saying to the person I was with, “I’m going to buy that house.” I texted Kristina right away to tell her I wanted to see it as soon as possible. By 10:30 the next morning we were walking through the front door. She called the seller’s agent to get answers to all of my questions, and by noon we were in the office writing the offer.

Once the offer was accepted, she handled everything so I didn’t have to stress. At the same time, I had to get my current home on the market and sold as quickly as possible, which meant repairs, cleaning, packing, and preparing for a move. I was managing the sale of one house and the purchase of another completely on my own during November and December—between Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s—while working 60 hours a week.

I had a 3-bedroom, 2,000-square-foot house full of things to pack and organize, and it was overwhelming at times. But I never once felt alone in the process. Kristina was always there. We talked constantly—not just as agent and client, but as friends. I would vent about everything going on with the sale, the purchase, and the move, and she would listen, offer advice, and keep me grounded. And we still managed to laugh through it all.

I closed on my Greensboro house on December 18 and moved in on December 20. The movers had just pulled out of the driveway, leaving my new house completely full of boxes and chaos, when Kristina showed up ready to assemble my kitchen island. While I was unpacking, she was putting furniture together.

“Above and beyond” doesn’t even begin to describe how she works.

If I hadn’t met Kristina, I honestly don’t know how I would have gotten through this process. Managing a home sale, purchase, and move on my own during the holidays while working nonstop was incredibly difficult, but she made it manageable every step of the way.

If I ever sell this house (which I probably won’t—I’m not doing this again!), I would absolutely work with her again.
