Walter Sinicki
Born and raised in the Great State of New Jersey! Graduated from Glassboro State College (since renamed Rowan University) with a major in Biology and a concentration in Environmental Studies in 1979. Worked as a Sanitarian (Health Inspector) for the State of New Jersey for a year. Lived in Trier, Germany for a year. Joined the Peace Corps and taught high school science on Ovalau Island in Fiji for two years (1982-1984) at St John’s College. I then taught ESL (English As A Second Language) in Utsunomiya, Japan for 1.5 years and traveled extensively through northern Honshu and Hokkaido. Back in New Jersey, I drove my 1975 Ford Pinto around the States for about 6-7 months, visiting numerous national parks, including Yosemite, Yellowstone, Sugaro, Banf, the Everglades, Big Bend and many more.
Lived in Bucaramanga, Columbia, SA for a year teaching science at the Colegio Panamericano. Traveled most of the “Gringo Trail” through several different South American countries. Visited Macchu Picchu, the Iguazu Falls and did some trecking in the Cordillera Blanca in Peru!
Went back to Japan to teach ESL in Osaka for 10 years. Got married!
Moved to Kailua-Kona in the spring of 2000. Got my real estate salesperson license late in 2000 and my real estate broker license in early 2004.
