Do all of Gerry's 5-star ratings leave you suspect? They would for me, too. As someone who reads lots of reviews but doesn't write them myself, I can sometimes see ratings like Gerry's and think: "OK, what's the catch?"

There is no catch. As someone who has worked with Gerry in a crazy market to find a house with my partner, there are two important things to know about him: #1) Gerry is an honest, moral, upstanding guy--a family man-- who only wants the best for his clients; #2) Gerry is excellent at what he does. He knows the market, he knows how to maneuver between sellers, lawyers, and mortgage brokers excellently--he will do everything he can to help you get the house you've decided you want.

These two reasons were more than enough for me to start working with Gerry, and through the actual process of finding a house, our faith in his work and our trust in his advice deepened and grew. Gerry was always available to us, scheduling weekly chats to check-in about open houses and to encourage us to see more houses at different price points. Whenever there was a house we wanted to make an offer on, he always took the time to go visit the house himself and give us his perspective on it. This provided a logical, non-emotional third voice that helped root our decisions. Not to mention that he saw all four of the houses we wanted to make offers on in different corners of MA. Selling a house is a big deal on the seller's part. The packing, the paperwork, work approvals, etc. Then add on how to sell your house: Gerry was with us all the way. From making minor and major upgrades to the house well in advance, helping even with the contractors, making accommodations for the dogs, pricing it right and putting the house on the market at the right time, knowing how to work with pricing and offers, then all of the final paperwork and inspections... Gerry guided us until the moment we drove away from the house with the moving van.

Selling a house is far more messy than anything you see on HGTV and I'm grateful Gerry was there with us. Even our marriage survived the sell/move/buy process :whew: :)

Throughout the entire process of our home purchase during summer/fall 2018, Gerry was a terrific agent, advisor, and sounding board. His knowledge of the Metro-West and South Shore markets' nuances saved us time when considering which towns to pursue, and his experience as a real estate attorney was invaluable once we were under contract (twice!).

Before finding the home we would eventually purchase, my fiancee and I were under contract to buy a different property.
