We've worked with a number of realtors in the past. Chris set the bar for what we will look for in the future. We were on different time zones and she was never unreachable and was very communicative with us about the state of the market, find the houses we wanted, and sending us listings. VA in 2022  I have worked with many real estate brokers and agents on several l real estate transact ions over the years and can say with confidence that Chris asmus is the best agent/ broker I have ever used.

Chris has the qualities that make her an extremely successful and effective broker. I can’t say enough about her professionalism and knowledge within the industry. She has high integrity and is very conscientious and tenacious, always keeping the clients best interests in mind. Our real estate purchase was a small transaction relative to the size of properties and transact ions Chris normally handles but she treated my husband and me with the same professionalism and courtesies one would expect for a very large transaction. One of the qualities I respected the most was her no- nonsense style. As a busy executive, I don’t have time to waste.  She gets to the point quickly yet professionally, always respecting the clients time. She does a great job of listening to her client’s needs and does not waste time showing properties which do not meet the client’s objectives. She does research to assist with assessing a fair market value of the property for the offer and then negotiates effectively with the opposing broker on behalf of the client.  She is extremely responsive to questions, often responding immediately to our late night emails after midnight.  She shows great attention to the details enabling the transaction to get done.  I have the highest level of confidence in her.  Our transact ion went very smoothly and we closed on time. We had a small issue on a roof leak following the close of the transaction and Susie had great follow through even though she had already been paid for the transaction.  She followed up many times with us until the issue was resolved.

As mentioned above, she represented us on the purchase side of the transaction.  I also would not hesitate to use her as my listing agent if I were selling a property. She is very smart and transactions can sometime become very complex.  I have the highest level of confidence in her and feel she would be able to properly assess any situation and figure out an effective solution.  In future transact ions, I will only have Chris represent me.

So it took us over a week to write this review because we didn’t want to miss any details in regards to how great of a job that Chris Asmus did during our home purchasing process. A five star rating is not enough for all she did for us over the last 20 plus months. She helped us look at over 100 homes. We looked at homes when we were unsure if we wanted a home, through a global pandemic, 25 plus miles away from our target area, and on short notice. Chris was always there to give us information and perspective from an honest point of view and that’s the one thing any prospective buyer will need.

When we finally decided to build, it could have been easy to go into the building center without a realtor, but we knew that Chris was very knowledgeable and that knowledge would come in handy as we went through the different phases of the build. She pointed out issues to the builder and spoke a language that the builder would understand to get us a satisfactory result. Even before closing when things seemed as if they would not close on time, Chris held firm to the demands we had and send photos of the issues that caused us heartburn over the final few days.

I found Chris when requesting a showing of a house, little did I know I would find a fantastic realtor without having to search and ask for recommendations. For being a first time home buyer Chris explained what we should be aware of when looking for a house. She would point out cracks or flaws within the house keeping our best interests in mind.
