My time in the wine country has been spent raising three wonderful kids— now young adults— through the public school system. I spent ten years working in outreach and development for Adventist Health and the Lake County Land Trust, which allowed me to build a strong local network. I believe in service to my community and served for 10 years on the Lake County Board of Education and am now serving on the Local Area Plan Advisory Committee helping to guide the Lake County 2050 General Plan Update. I teach yoga and enjoy everything that this area has to offer, from the world-class wineries to the great outdoors. From education to recreation, I can definitely give you a well-rounded idea of life in Lake County and surrounding areas.

We were very happy that we selected Melissa to sell our home in Lake County, CA. First and foremost, she is a wonderful and fun professional who knows how to help reduce the stress of selling a home, making it a team effort. To begin, she set up an orientation
meeting with us as first time sellers, explaining the steps we would take and helping establish a sale price in conjunction with optimal timing. Then she helped us prioritize what we should do to prepare the house for sale, and we set a realistic deadline
to have everything ready to create a strong positive first impression for prospective buyers as soon as the house was listed. It only took an open house and a private showing for an offer to be submitted within days of the listing. After receiving the offer,
we appreciated Melissa's attentive follow up efforts to navigate the escrow process, which in our case required special investigations in order to feel secure about how realistic the funding was. In the end, the sale and the purchase worked out positively
for both parties due primarily to Melissa's attentive and timely input.
