Amy is not just a realtor, she is a therapist, a contractor, a friend, a prayer buddy, and whatever else you might be needing at just that moment! For the last two years Amy patiently, pleasantly, and calmly walked me through my home-buying journey. I was not a good client - I was fickle, demanding, outrageous, outraged and uninformed!!!!! She went out of her way to reach out to parties that needed to do specific things to ensure our closing went smoothly, without even needing to. Amy was very involved with the whole process, showing us upwards of 20 homes. She was always available for us when we needed her. She knew how to explain certain aspects of the paperwork to us so that we felt more comfortable with everything. Overall, we would and will choose her when we decide to buy another home. She made it possible for us to be as stress free as possible and we wouldn’t have changed our decision for anything! Our lender offered us a $500 bonus to work with one of their realtors and we turned it down to continue our relationship with her. Amy is the best!

When a friend of mine came to me for recommendations for a realtor in Greensboro, I wanted to ensure he was well taken care of and had the best guiding him through his first home purchase. From the moment Amy and I spoke on the phone, she was the easiest of individuals to talk to so I felt 100% comfortable referring Mike to her. She made sure that she understood what he was looking for and where he was in the process (which was square one, right at the beginning.) Mike's main concerns was school systems and not being taken advantage of in a new build home which Amy and her husband have a vast knowledge of both areas. She has been a blessing to work with, keeping myself and Mike informed every step of the way. I could not and would not recommend anyone but Amy in the future for referrals in Greensboro!

From the very start, my husband and I knew that we’d struck gold when our daughter matched us up with Amy (& Rich) Manzi. Our search for a home in NC began during our week long visit with our daughter and her family in McLeansville at the time of the Christmas/New Year holiday. On very short notice Amy and Rich devoted a substantial amount of their time to help us “binge search” in the area so that we could get a good idea of what Greensboro and its surrounds had to offer. During those few days, we found and fell in love with a home that was nearly perfect for us but that was sadly rather overpriced. We did not bid on the home, but rather decided to wait for something similar whose pricing would be more in line with similar homes in the area.
Once my husband and I returned home to NJ, Amy continued to work for us long distance; and she and Rich offered us a great deal of advice and encouragement during this time. Amy regularly sent us email links to listings that she felt would satisfy as many of our requirements as possible and she was happy to research and report on homes whose links I sent to her. I decided to return to NC once again in February to revisit our “first love” and to view some other promising listings in the area that were available at that time. None were as appealing as our “first love” so we decided to bid on that house in spite of its price. Unfortunately, the seller remained firm and we ended up having to pay top dollar to secure the house. However, as per our request, Amy and Rich wrote up a contract offer whose clear intention was to help insulate us from significant and expensive repairs that could be deemed necessary during the inspections that took place that month. As we had hoped, the sellers agreed and promised to have those repairs done by the closing date.
All seemed perfect until the walk through on the day before closing. At that time, Rich found a potentially serious undisclosed problem that home inspector was not able to uncover during the winter months. This problem had the potential to result in substantial out of pocket repair expenses for me and my husband. The next day, our worst fears were confirmed and we were told that some major repairs were needed. Before my very eyes, I saw sweet loving Amy turn into a ferocious pit bull on our behalf (or as Amy described herself, a “Mama Bear” whose only interest was to protect her "family".) Amy insisted that the lawyer put a hold on the closing proceedings and she followed a course of action that she hoped would shield us from the expense of this necessary repair. The negotiations and follow up required a good deal of additional time on Amy’s part, DAYS after she should have been free to move on to other clients. Amazingly, Amy showed no concern at all for the inconvenience and extra work this matter caused her. Her selfless tenacity in in obtaining a fair resolution on our behalf was simply amazing!
I would be remiss if I signed off on this review without praising Amy’s personal concern for us and our needs. During the entire process Amy had a way of making me feel as if I was the most important client in her portfolio and she treated me and my husband as if we were family. Amy rejoiced at our successes and her caring compassionate nature helped us deal with the disappointments that came our way during the home search and closing process. I view our association and our new found friendship with Amy and Rich as a blessing from God and it is our pleasure and our joy to recommend them without reservation!
