A leadership team built for what’s next
NextHome’s management team brings decades of proven experience in real estate technology, marketing, and brokerage operations. Known for speaking truth and cutting through the noise, they set a clear and unapologetic vision for helping NextHome members thrive.
James Dwiggins
James Dwiggins is the co-founder and chief executive officer of NextHome, Inc., a third-generation real estate leader with deep roots in the industry. His grandparents, parents, and family all built their careers in real estate. Known for speaking plainly and challenging the status quo, James brings a clear, forward-focused vision for the future of real estate.
He has been shaping the franchise landscape since 2006, starting at Realty World Northern California & Nevada as director of technology and strategy and rising to vice president within five years before eventually acquiring the company. In May 2014, he cofounded NextHome with Tei Baishiki, running both brands until 2020 when Realty World International reacquired the region. By January 2015, James and Tei launched NextHome as an independent national franchise.
Before Realty World, James and Tei cofounded VREO, Inc., developing enterprise-level real estate technology. VREO introduced biometric signature software for paperless transactions and earned the Inman Innovator Award for its impact. Prior to that, James cofounded USA Virtual Tours, growing it nationally until its acquisition in 2001.
A passionate advocate for the industry, James speaks widely and is regularly featured in the media on real estate, franchise, and technology trends. He has been recognized as a RISMedia Newsmaker and continues to appear on the Swanepoel Power 200 list as one of the top 25 real estate executives in America. He has also led NextHome to three consecutive top rankings in owner satisfaction by Franchise Business Review. He also hosts the Real Estate Insiders Unfiltered Podcast, where no topic is off limits.
Originally from San Luis Obispo, California, James played on the state championship soccer team and studied business and criminal law at Cuesta College. Today, he channels his competitive edge into snowboarding and racing cars, a thrill that first connected him with Tei over drag racing in their teens. NextHome is their third company together and they continue to build it without compromise.
Keith Robinson
Keith Robinson is the co-chief executive officer of NextHome, Inc., driving national growth through strategic business relationships and practical, results-focused strategies. With deep experience across real estate operations, sales, recruitment, training, and marketing, Keith knows what it takes to build teams and partnerships that perform.
Keith has built a reputation as a dynamic leader in real estate strategy and marketing. A co-host of the highly popular Real Estate Insiders Unfiltered Podcast, Keith has leveraged this flagship branding platform to elevate awareness of the NextHome brand and attract agents nationwide. With over 27 years of experience, including leadership roles at Better Homes & Gardens Mason-McDuffie and Prosper Marketing, Keith understands how to craft strategies that resonate far beyond local markets.
His expertise also comes from earlier roles as a consultant at SmartZip, vice president at North Point Real Estate Investment Services, and team leader for Keller Williams Real Estate.
Born and raised in Oakland, California, Keith earned a BA in business administration from Missouri Southern. He had worked with nearly everyone on the NextHome leadership team before joining, following the philosophy of “if you can’t beat them, join them.” His proudest role is being the father (and step father) of his daughter(s) and spending time with his family.
Tei Baishiki
Tei Baishiki is the co-founder and chief operating officer of NextHome, Inc., leading operations and building the technology that gives our network an edge.
He has been shaping real estate franchises since 2008, when he started working with CEO James Dwiggins at Realty World Northern California & Nevada. As chief technology officer, he built and led a team of engineers, designers, and IT specialists, driving strategy and infrastructure. He became COO in 2011, overseeing all operational aspects. In 2014, he and James secured funding for NextHome, Inc. and acquired the Master License Agreement to Realty World Northern California & Nevada.
Before that, Tei and James cofounded VREO, Inc., where he served as CTO and later CEO. He designed platforms, including DeepGreen Financial’s automated client and loan processing system that handled over $800 million in volume. He also launched the original Realty World enterprise platform, which won the 2004 Inman Innovator Award. Tei is widely recognized in the industry and has been named to the RISMedia Newsmakers and Swanepoel Power 200 lists.
A San Francisco Bay Area native, Tei studied mechanical engineering before switching to business at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He grew up building street rod cars with his father and has a passion for motorcycles. He passes both to his son Drew and brings the same focus and precision to his work at NextHome.
